As for this second calendar, the photographer needs a better video card, and needs to learn about lighting effects and posing. Comparing the two calanders - the original by Pickles is far far superior. I've done some modelling and seen a wide range of talent in photographers.
For the Men of Wild Lake to be more successful, I would recommend investing in a better video card, posing the models to best use the light in the shot, water and flora effects, textures, etc.

Maybe next month.
Seriously, it's a lot of work and I need a bit of a break after doing the two I did. For every image I spend between 1-3 hours color correcting, highlighting elements, replacing backgrounds, enhancing and smoothing stuff, etc. The guys were much harder as I had to 'invent' some muscle tone in their chests and abdomen.
It was a lot of fun, but I need a bit of a break from it.

Ooh! Ooh! I'll even get my frills done!
I used to be a dancer, and gave it up. But my modelling days need not be over! ![]()

My only complaint, not enough Zabraks.
We can be very hot too, ya know?

Honestly, the images were probably chosen as much for lighting, settings, colors, clothing and overall aesthetics as much as physical beauty. There were a few zabraks that submitted photos, and I know one of them in particular was one vote away from being in there.
I too regret that not enough races were represented, but that is just the nature of things.
