I'm wondering if there's any way to have 'them' tell us things that are never going to change. That is, "socketing will not change, stop submitting it." That way we can stop submitting it, taking up one of our 5 issues, perhaps move those down the list.

I'd rather see SOMETHING get fixed even if it's a lower priority, than continue to submit a list of the same 5 issues over and over and see no changes.

Gyopi, I was curious about your thoughts on this comment above?

Well, its my feeling that they are not likely to tell us things will change or not change because they simply don't know and there are a lot of possibilities! Already, things that they were not going to budge on (such as starport waits) have been changed. Just from looking at what has been posted publicly, it looks like the entire combat system is going to change. I don't know of any MMORPG which has managed to pull something like that off! SWG is a very flexible system and it seems like almost anything is possible if they are motivated.

So what does that mean for us? It doesn't mean that things are going to change quickly, but I think we should keep pushing for what we want! They are looking at our requests and the requests of all of the communities. Changes are prioritized though. Sometimes something is really easy to fix and gets slipped in. Usually I think that they look at the issue or bug, see whether it is something that they can do in a reasonable amount of time and balance that with how much it will benefit the general community before they put it on the schedule. If something that is essential to the game is really broken (like combat) then it might be put higher on the schedule and push other things back.

I guess what I would say is that we should keep asking for things on our top 5. Things like fixing decay are essential to our profession and absolutely need to be asked for. Its hard not to be discouraged when things stay on the top 5 for such a long time, but I think that they all have a good chance of being fixed and I will keep asking about them. The more major things that they get fixed (such as combat or the GCW), the better chance of them fixing our issues too!

For #25 (Certain items do not produce sockets) right off the bat you can also add the Ammo Bandolier.

Not sure where this would fit (#13?) but the Simple Waist Wrap's color is controlled only and entirely by the second palette choice. The first one doesn't affect anything at all, even though the full palette is there. Consequently the wrap is always just one color.

Hey all!

There's probably one or two of you that may remember me from waaaay back. N'Jessi I have to say I am amazed you're still here, you guys are so lucky to have had her for this long! Your peristence deserves an award!
I got bored today and decided to bop in here and see what was shaking. Imagine my horror when I find the Top 10 are almost the same as they were when I left the game in May. I feel for you guys, I really do.
Anyway, hope you all have a happy holiday season!

What would be useful is having bugs and (seemingly) more trivial issues fixed outside of the community's top 5 overall concerns. I'd put these on that list:

7, 12, 13?, 16, 17, 19, 20, 21, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27

I'm sure that some issues that look trivial to us are going to be non-trivial to fix. Still, you'd think that some of these could be knocked off fairly easily. Do the SWG Devs have "bug day" once a week?

PS: 20 mentions #11, which doesn't talk about item categories. Hopefully you remember which one it's supposed to be pointing to!

On thing that's always bugged me was the formal shoes. Why are they only allowed to be black. That is one thing I would like to see changed. That the ENTIRE shoe would have color options so you could make a true zuit suit or something along those lines. If boots can be green I don't understand why suade can't be at least brown or white.

One thing to add to the "clipping/fitment" issue, #6 i believe.

The black sun medallion is not visible at all when equipped. I didn't see it in the list other than just generally that necklaces don't fit right.

Hi

Don't have anything to add.

Just thought as a tailor I should say I agree with the list and welcome more possibilities.

To me the post important thing is to get more colours. It would make a big difference already.

Just thought I'd toss some pennies down the well and offer my little .02 cents.

There are some colors on the leather pallete that I like a lot, like the teal and this neat red/brown color. I'd hate to see the colors lost as I can't recall a teal on the 255 colors off the top of my head. So my vote would be to combine the palletes. I would also *LOVE* to see like blue/greens and reds/oranges.... But now I'm dreaming, hehe.
