Thank you for bumping this!! I was amused to tears! 
I don't have any amusing stories that i can rattle off the top of my head, but I have gotten the:
- can you make me look like Han Solo
- I want Jedi Clothes
- i wanna look cool/hot/badass
- i wanna look original (in all black)
- Can you make me a TK outfit (i didnt know TKA had a uniform)
- Can you make me what so-and-so is wearing (peer around and so-and-so is not anywhere near me!)
- Do you make clothes? (my tag says Master Tailor) "Yes, i sure can. What kind would you like?" "I dunno" /sigh
- etc etc etc

I sat the other night reading this thread and laughin me bum off.....and as i finished it i was thinking to myself "man am i ever lucky not to run into people like posted here". Well apparenlty i cursed myself by thinking that lol 
Here's my story ---
Here's my story ---Today waiting for the shuttle to meet another tailor friend i get a tell
Dork- hey i am at your bio clothesvendor, but i dont see what i want, can you make me something special
ME- me certainly, please send me an email and i will gladly make your order when i get back on the planet (keep in mind i have a pack back labeled BIO CLOTHES INFO PLEASE READ or something like that...and once opened it list every type of be type each item is listed that can be made with what mods etc etc and i also sited two links to visit to check out what stuff looks like and a second pack labeled PLEASE READ re: orders which asks them to read the first mentioned pack BOTH I N RED).
Get on my shuttle meet my friend....get another tell
Dork- oh no i have to meet with you, you need to see what i am wearing
In my head i am thinking, right like i can't match black with black....and i even said that to my friend (who happens to be a master tailor as well). So as i am heading back to my home planet i send dork a tell and ask him to please meet me at my house where all my supplies would be........during my wait for the shuttle there and on my drive to my house...i repeatedly asked dork what kind of bio mods he would like...with no response (which meant i had to pop by my factories and grab a crate of each kind as i had nothing on me or in the house ick.....messing up my inventory).
Finally the meeting
Dork (who is wearing a dec. vest with padded workpants)- Okay so what kind of mods can you do?? i have doctor mods in this shirt
Me- you didn't read the pack on my vendor? lol
Dork- no didn't see it? i want something good tho, like Def vs dizzy
ME- i am sorry there is no such mod only clothing attachments for that (blah blah i go on to list every possible mod, explaining the differences and what shirts can take combat mods)
Dork- I have this short black tshirt it has doctors mods in it...can you put melee def in it
ME- no i am sorry that shirt you have (muslce t) doesn't take combat mods only doc mods
Dork- are you sure you know what you are talking about?? this shirt takes doctors mods, as does this vest
Me- LOL yes i have a pretty good idea of what i am talking about as 90% of what i do is bio clothes
This goes on for a few more mintues, and he tells me 2 MORE TIMES that his stupid SHIRT HAS DOCTORS mods in it! OMG who cares lol And then the reqeust to put combat mods in boots, gloves hats (which he has already been told is not possible).
Finally he kinda get its.......then starts asking me "whats' better for pvp, the melee def mods or the intimidation/warcry, I am TKM"!
I start to think this person is completely insane or VERY Stupid...yes i can see that you are WORKING on TK by the lil tag over your head (he was mystic not master yet) and my answer to him was "i dont pvp much anymore, as you can see i am master tailor blah blah it's up to you what you feel is more important (all lies lol but whatever i have lost my mind at this point)".
YAY he decides on a black undershirt with intimidation/warcry stats, and padded workspant with the melee def mods (both of which were on my vendor in the requested black) and before i start to craft them i am TOLD not asked to MAKE SURE I MAKE THERIGHT PANTS ......he doesn't want me to make the wrong pants......*sigh* sorry this has been long and such but it's a good vent for me......anyhow right after he left my shop i created macros with the bio mods inforamtion....thanks to those who suggested that

ROFL!!
That has got to be the best one I've read! Oh only if we could do that to all the l33t ub3r doodz!

I make the doc a new doc dress it was then he suggests trying it out and going hunting so we get buffed up and I say wait a sec just going to dump some of my stuff off at my factories.

I've just recently done the grind to Master Tailor, so I really haven't had any experiences like these yet. But I've spent a good part of the last two days at work when things have been slow (and maybe not-so-slow) absolutely laughing my backside off!
With stories like these, I'm REALLY looking forward to being part of this community!

Ha! I have a story to add now.
I have an outfit vendor set up with outfits I got from the sadly departed swgimagedesign.com. These include outfits from the movies. Now I log in one day and I'm reading my mail. Someone had bought a few items, one of which was the "Rebel Officer's Uniform" outfit. (This is what Jan Dodonna wears.) A few mails down, there's one from him that says something like: I BOUGHT THIS STUPID OUTFIT AND ALL I GOT WAS NOOB CLOTHES!!! Y DID U DO THIS?!??!?
I really wonder what he was expecting, never did find that out. So I sent him a mail back saying "I don't understand what your problem is. You bought that outfit, right? Maybe I put the wrong clothes in it or something." A few hours later, I got a tell from this guy. He was actually rather polite this time. He complained a bit about having bought "newbie clothes" and I told him it was really the outfit from the movies. Then he complained about my price (10k), and I told him that I'm actually shutting down that vendor for a while because I can't keep outfits in stock at that price. (Which is the truth.) Then he just stopped talking.
That's my story lol. Hope to hear more.

This one didn't actually happen to me, but it happened to a novice tailor standing just next to me and I laughed so hard I nearly broke the keyboard.
So, I'm sitting there in coronet, surveying to finally get master artisan and waiting for a customer to stop being afk so I can hand her her order.
A novice tailor is putting together a respectable order for someone - all black combat clothes with a sunguard, but that's what the customer asked for, so fair play. Good choice of garments anyway.
Suddenly, someone comes running out of coronet starport and runs straight for said tailor with "novice tailor" above his head.
Stranger: Please! U buffing?
Tailor: Um... no? I'm a tailor, not a doctor.
Stranger: Please! i need buff! i pay!
Tailor: I'm sorry, I can't help you.
Stranger: But U tailor! i pay 100K!
*tailor stares blankly for a second as two doctors walk straight pass them into the starport. Ves then starts laughing so hard he misses most of the rest of the exchange.*
I liked this so much, I've actually taken to standing around Miner's Outpost, Dantooine, shouting "Master Tailor Buffs! improves cool, self-worth and sex-appeal by 400-500!"

i get alot of tells saying can u make me one of those things that all the people are wearing? or it has 2 straps and it looks really cool. or they say I want blue then u make it and they say " Thats the wrong color blue" and u have to make all the blues that you cant hen they still want a different color hehe......
