I think that's an excellent idea, and I plan to do that first thing tomorrow. Maybe it will force dev's to improve the chances on four socketed clothing for us if they have the general player base complaining about the increasingly higher prices of 4 socket clothing, instead of us lowly tailors. (Well, lowly in dev's eyes, at least).

actually, I did some testing today, and found that 4 sockets aren't that rare if you're a master tailor, and approximating every 1 out of 5 items I made had 4 sockets. (after that testing, I now have a LOT of gloves on my 4 socket vendor )



Link steel gloves is complexity of 15... I think, and they seem to get 4 sockets fairly easy. Do you have engineering 4?

It is pure crap that the melee def is so low on tissues when everything else is +15-19ish. What does it matter that we can craft one item into +25 MD or 6?

nope, just DA4. I can test uniform boots (complexity 25) next, but I'll have to wait until after Deila's party

it's not. as I understand it, skill tapes with numbers this high are rare... the problem is that clothing items have no use-decay, therefore as long as you don't die much and you insure you can keep your items pretty much forever, and that currently items at 0/x or 1/1 condition can still be equipped. skill tapes like this shouldn't be as big of a problem once they do something about those problems.
