Well, here's a question...although maybe I should be posting in the BE forums for this...

but can the BEs still make the tissues?

Then I can stock up for when they fix it, I'll be ready to make a lot of clothing again.

Yes, BE can still make the tissues, but not sure if the bug is in the tissues or the clothing. I would assume it's in the clothing part....but programming is tricky.

Apparently all clothing mods are broken. Crafters aprons are not giving mods either. Do NOT use any schematic that gives clothing mods.

I am at work right now so I can't test but if someone has a useless skilltape they can put into a piece of clothing I would appreciate them trying. I am wondering if that is broken too. That would at least help isolate the problem to either clothing mods in general or the crafting system.

I'm pretty sure it's in crafting, because when I examine the modded cloth/RFP in the crafting window it shows the mod, but when i drop it into a cloth/RFP crafting slot it then loses the mod. But, who knows. Good idea about the SEA's... I'd cry if I dropped a +5 LS speed tape in a garment and got nothing from it.

Etain,

"I still have people waiting for the crate bug to be fixed so they can get their guild's uniform."

There is no reason that your customers need or should wait for their clothing orders.

You can make the items by hand.

That is what I would do.

7simple SEAs dropped into a total of four different clothing peices
{pants, shirt, vest, jacket} all mods stuck taking up one slot

so looks like SEAs are indeed working as normal.

Thanks! That means it is definitely a crafting problem an not a problem with putting mods onto clothing.

I gotta be honest and say I'm pretty apalled by this patch. I look at the patch notes and don't really see anything that is a huge positive for the game, yet a game breaking bug like this that has been repeatedly brought before the devs attention by no less than 3 different correspondents has been ignored...and at the same time they are talking about doing away with test center as we know it... I dunno, at some point it comes down to taking some pride in your work I think, but I guess I'd better bite my tongue and shut up before I find myself banned.

I don't think I've ever seen such a game-breaking bug go live for the tailor profession. I'm very disheartened. Please be sure not to waste your tissues at this time.

and just think of all those who will blindly craft today because they do not visit the forums.

they will sit and makes extras just to see what's wrong not knowing each in turn will not have mods

wish we could make server announcments so when folks load in they are aware.

It literally disgusts me that the developers, the QA people, the designers, marketing, management, etc. would consider this to be "a job well done."

Just disgusting.

I am thourghly disgusted...

Not because of the bug itself, but becasue they knew about it, and let it go live anyway.

Every week, it's something different, my crated uniforms that are black/red are pulling off the crates as pink, I can't create BE clothing. Bugs trying to transfer houses, ("the target is not a player"), bah! Bugged houses where you cant add anyone to admin, condemmed structures taking up a good 40% of the planets surfaces, SOE's refusal to let me add my long term SWG's account to my All access accounts because my station names werent exaclty identical (doesn't matter they are owned and billed to the same person, and have been for several years). It's all crap.

The bottom line here is not about the quality of the product they deliver to us, or the quality of customer service they provide. the bottom line is how much more money can they suck out of us, feeding on our gaming addictions. I have cancelled both of my all access accounts, that housed my EQ1/EQ2 (EQ1 was a 5 year old account), and I have cancelled one of my SWG accounts as well. I am seriously considering cancelling more of my SWG accounts.

I've been pushed too too damn much by this company, and have about had it. Their refusal to address issues in a TIMELY fashion will be their downfall in the end.
