Hello Everyone)
I have been working on Tailor for just under five months now and I have finally made it to Master! I have never done any 'grinding' in my profession, I have crafted and sold my way to the highest level) It took me quite awhile and I had a lot of frustrated customers along the way because I couldn't always make the item or color they wanted. One thing I have always done is keep track of each person who has purchased an item from me (clothing, not components) and I have sent them an e-mail letting them know that I will craft one outfit for them for free to thank them for their help along my journey.
I had some players kind enough to give me odds and ends of resources and others who gladly donated their heavy duty leathers and other components for tailor. I have also given many Lightweight Military Backpacks and Spec-Op Field Agent packs as gifts to friends or for sponsorship of events. I also have a few people (Chefs and Armorsmiths) who I make factory runs of items for on a pretty regular basis. I'm just glad to say that I am finally a Master and I have never been more excited!
I spent three hours last night crafting all of the new items and stocking my vendor and I am anxiously awaiting 5 PM so I can head home and log in to see if I made any sales)
I have used the Tailor message board several times to learn new things or help me with my questions so I just wanted to say thank you and I may be posting more now that I am a Master!
Thank you!)
Welcom the THE profession !!!

Congrats!
I made Master Tailorthree monthsago, and I was so excited to go to the tailor trainer for the last time! I took about the same amount of time you did, although I did grind a little (only while waiting for shuttles, I swear!).
The problemwith being master is...my wardrobe is HUGE! I know I can remake outfits that I really love, but it's tough deciding which ones have to go.
My hubby (RL and IG) just laughs at me. But he was a Master Tailor not too long ago, and his wardrobe was just as bad...but now he has to ask me to make everything that he wants. /evilgrin
I hope you find a great deal of enjoyment with your new status! /cheer
