Thread: More Info: Broken Colors for Wookiee Clothes

If I am remembering correctly, on one of the weighted wookie clothing articles, all the top half of the colors are off and the bottome half are all white or some shade of it, instead of the colors shown on the box. I can't remember exactly which article, but I am only into field wear I, so it is a novice tailor or field wear I item.

Take care,

Help I promised and help you get, Ali!

Here's a list of what I can make (Casual 3, Field 1, Formal 1, no Tailoring).

Heavy Shoulderpad, Patterned Wookiee Gloves, Sigiled Waist-wrap, Tree-dweller's hood - fine

Weighted Waist Wrap - works, but what's the point of colour customisation when it barely affects the appearence?

Simple Waist Wrap - Top colour slider works, bottom one seems to change nothing

Weighted Wookiee Pullover - The top slider is just plain wrong. Dark brown shows up as a light colour, and a light tan colour is actually darker than the darker tan next to it, etc. The bottom colour slider has a lot more colours than can actually be used. It seems that the bottom 1/3 of the "available colours" don't make any change at all.

Wookiee Strapped Gloves - The top slider is just plain wrong. Dark brown shows up as a light colour, and a light tan colour is actually darker than the darker tan next to it, etc.

Weighted Wookiee Hood, Wookiee Hide Jerkin, Wookiee Padded Gloves, Wookiee Traveller's Helm, Wookiee Smock- work fine

This is the list I sent them in beta, I don't have the crested schem yet in game, but I assume since the other errors are still there, that one is too:

Crested Battle Padding - Color 1 is off (black is pink, green is white, yellow is black, etc)

Simple Waist Wrap - color 2 has no impact on the wrap

Weighted Waist Wrap - Color 1 is off

Weighted Wookie Hood - Color 2 is off

Weighted Wookie Pullover - Color 1 and Color 2 off

Wookie Battle Padding - Color 1 is off, Color 2 only affects brightness

Not sure if the list was complete, I might have gone on auto-pilot and started reporting without taking notes.

If what i understand what i am reading correctly, than even without a developer fix, we should be able to determine - 1. Which colors or off 2. The correct color box to select to achieve the orginial wanted color. So lets say i wanted a red(deep pink) Crested Battle .. which box number would give me that result? Anyone play around with this?

By the way, I made a Sigaled Waist Wrap last night and the colors appeared to be dead-on correct.

Krantor,

Not all of the colors are available however, and as was stated above the Wookie Battle Padding Color 2 only effects the brightness. The Wookie Battle Padding can only be Green-Gold. There are big problems with these wookie clothing items, and it's very difficult when a Wookie asks for clothes in a Specific color.

There is also no Master Wookie clothing item

Wookiee Weighted Hood

Wieghted Pullover

Battle Padding

Weighted Waist Wrap

I make all the wookiee items on a regular basis and these 4 have color issues when selecting from the palette.

This one is wonky in a new and different way from the others. What it looks like to me is there's an overlay color that determines the center part color and tones the shoulderpads, then there's a shoulderpad color.

What it appears to be is that the overlay color works ok, but the shoulderpad color simply cycles again and again through the green pallette.

Alright, this is what I've seen so far. A few people have listed not having problems with items that I have. Such as the tree dwellers hood. The color palette on mine is completely screwy. If I click gray I'll get brown. So I keep clicking all the colors in hopes of getting gray. No such luck, I will however get that same shade of brown two more times though... It's just plain screwed up. I think texture of the items does have something to do with it causing tints to look off, but that's what's really screwing us up. It's just broke. The only things that have been consistently right for me have been the patterened gloves and the sigiled waist wrap.

Hmm since we are getting conflicting information (I thought the tree-dwellers hood was just fine) I will check tonight when I play and write down all the ones I know for sure. I dont have all the wookiee items though.

Well if it does workfine for you then we do have a strange glitch. All the same, even though it further complicates things, I don't see why the devs can't just look and see what the glitch is. It's apparent there is one there and I'm all for making it easier to expedite the fixes but I'm thinking the players aren't going to be able to find a common link on one. So I wouldn't worry about not having the higher wookie items, it's obvious there is an issue period to be addressed. Disappointed and angry wookies frighten me.

Not sure if anyone else has seen this or not (doubt many people actually make this item), but on the Wookie Shoulder Pad (field wear 3), I had a white haired wookie equip this and then his whole torso turned into a black void. This probably has something to do with the "pink effect" that you see on wookie torsos when they are far away from you as well.
