Thread: How much are you charging for the new BE clothing?
I had to get all new Tensile Resistance tissues which takes milk secondly
the higher price will drive away resellers who want to spam about their
CU compliant vendors. Oh yeah, and the insane demand...
Prices Before CU
10k for RFP 4 socket shirts (no matter what bonus)
15k for RFP 4 socket bandoliers (no matter what bonus)
45k for SC 4 socket Taming Shirts
25k for SC 4 socket Taming Hats
25k for SC 4 socket Medical Hats (when I figure out if Augmentation is broken in a made item)
45k for SC 4 socket Medical Shirts (when I figure out if Augmentation is broken in a made item)
35k for RFP 4 socket Jackets
35k for RFP 4 socket Pants
50k for RFP/SC 4 Socket Jackets
50k for RFP/SC 4 Socket Pants
Prices After CU
25k for RFP 4 socket shirts (no matter what bonus)
30k for RFP 4 socket bandoliers (no matter what bonus)
75k for SC 4 socket Taming Shirts
50k for SC 4 socket Taming Hats
30k for SC 4 socket Medical Hats (when I figure out if Augmentation is broken in a made item)
50k for SC 4 socket Medical Shirts (when I figure out if Augmentation is broken in a made item)
50k for RFP 4 socket Jackets
35k for RFP 4 socket Pants
75k for RFP/SC 4 Socket Jackets
75k for RFP/SC 4 Socket Pants
with +16 tensile resistance tissues I'll probably add on another 10k
I am a Veteran Tailor, I've been doing it for 8 months. Noone has complained about my pricing before the CU
or now. I keep a basic pricing scheme because its easy, and fast. Although some might call it lazy, its
experience that has taught me that this way is best. As for my new pricing, I kind of ball parked it
but once everyone gets their fill on clothing I will probably lower prices when the demand goes down so I don't
get wiped out in a day. But right now, I am paying my BE 50% more than what he expected for his effort to keep
me stocked with tissues and hes doing a hell of a job at that.
For the tailors who kept their current pricing scheme; kudos to you, watch out for bulk buyers expecially now.
i charge 15K for the single tissue clothes, 25K for the ones with +25 and also 25K for the ones with both a reinforced fiber panel with mods and a synthetic cloth with mods.

it is a RFP peice for the melee/ranged ... so my max per clothing is +16 ... dont think there is a peice that will let you stack the stuff for RFP's .. but you can always wear two of them ...
What's RFP? So i take it that melee/ranged def clothes max at +16/+16? If so,I shall start looking for tailors to craft them for me.![]()
Reinforced Fiber Panels
the tissue max people are getting with high quality resources is +16/+16 (on tensile resistance)
I am still looking for info if there is a +25 hard cap still or not. If there is, all you need are two +13 articals of clothing.
According to the answer Gyopi got, there still is indeed a +25 cap. http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=tailor&message.id=54888
I just saw crates of BE tissues selling for 175,000 credits!
IfI buy them, the cost will NEED to be passed onto my customers. The thing about tailoring is, we buy in bulk then we price individually each item of clothing and we're not sure it's going to sell. The BE's get their money up front (which is fine), it's just that 175,000 credits is alot. I wonder if this is the new pricing on tissues or if this BE was just selling really high.

175k/craft is a decent price given the stuff that goes into some of the tissues. ie milk, eggs and strange meats like reptile and insect.
As a BE, I'll charge anything from 50-250k/crate depending on the tissue. Pre-CU the doc mods and ent mods went for a lot, but the mask scent was on the lower end. Post CU, I've mostly done the melee/range defense tissues.
So far, all of the tissues I've done have been for our guild tailor. He's got the market cornored atm and is making a killing. We're set up on a profit sharing plan. So far, he's made me about4 mil
I won't tell what's he's made, but its way more than I have.
I tag all my clothing and after close to 2 yrs my prices haven't changed much,
people are welcome to resell my stock..if they pay what I am charging it is now their item to do what they want with.
most do not resell on Sunnrunner as most all crafters do tag items. Lots of us brand name folks around ![]()

I don't tag my clothing at all, but I agree people are welcome to resell my stock as long as I make my end of profit first. Resellers welcome as long as I can build up my stock of clothing and the majority of the people are happy and served.

The clothing I just made with the unarmed damage/terrain nego were +17, sold them at my regular price and they sold OUTin ONE night, so did the melee/ranged defense ones.
I guess I need to adjust my expectations a little. I just have a problem with spending 175,000 credits and then have it sit on my vendors! I guess I am hesitant about buying it until I get a sense about how many peeps will remain on my server.
i go by a simple yet somewhat profitable diagram:
20k per BE syn cloth / RFP
then 10 k per socket
so a shirt with 1 RFP and 4 sockets sells for 60 k
pants are almost useless now so i am concentrating on shirts and bandoliers

FWIW, I've always charged 1000 per point of the highest mod in the tissue times the number of tissues required for the slot. This is in addition to the (usually comparatively minor) cost of the item itself.
Really a server-dependent and BE-rarity-dependent thing, though.

Heyas, not a tailor but I do know for a fact the cap is gone. I have a mercenary band, sec corp duster, reinforced shirt, and reinforced pants all with 15 melee and 15 range. Altogether it gives me 60/60 on my def.
if what you are looking at is the number found in your skill boxes, it has always shown above the +25 cap. You cannot use that as a reference point.
