i already sent a mail to Bruce E. that i am not satisifed with that answer but havnt heared anything yet. i dont want to get abused as a beta tester on the live servers or at least i dont wanna suffer from bugs or untold major changes in gameplay that affect my items to get destroyed without getting informed about that fact in a way that i tell "i'm informed about that now".



this is garbage.

it happened to my ROTJ helmet, went from 68/100 to 0/100.

i bought it the week before the combat upgrade for millions.




the bug seems to be with non-tailor items (such as certain looted pieces and armor). regular clothing does not decay right now.

Let me see if I can find it. This past week or so has been pretty hellish while I get ready to go to a conference for a couple of days and to see if I can get a new job. I keep losing track of stuff! Anyway, I think that the problem with number 3 is that I wasn't clear enough in my question. I left a little wiggle room in the way I asked it and got a vague answer in return.

Here is the answer that I got. It basically says to me that if the skill mod works then it works....

Yes. All clothing skillmod bonuses are capped at 25.



  1. What does all of our old BE clothing do? Many of us have a large inventory of BE clothing that we were selling but they did not get converted. Do they still work and will there be another conversion pass in the future that will catch things like this?

If they are valid skill mod bonuses under the current system, they should all continue to function as before.

Ok, so now could we get a list from the devsof the working skill mods in the current system?


I have started to put together a list of working and non-working skill mods, hoping that we will one day see a conversion of all our broken skill mods, both those which are already applied and the ones in SEAs and such.
