I found the +9 to steady aim on a Tuskan Warlord. No you aren't readin it wrong. Yes I said +9, and yes I said tuskan warlord. Raiding Ft Tuskan is fun. especially when most people have given up looting the tuskans ;-)

I created my first travel packs last night (I'm working on Novice Tailor still). Two of them had three sockets, one had one socket. I put them up for sale for a base of 500cr plus 100cr per socket.

Now if I was making an outfit for someone, I wouldn't charge them extra for whatever sockets happened to appear on the clothing, just as I wouldn't do a remake to get more sockets unless the customer is paying for remakes.

But I don't see the logic behind ignoring the bonuses one item has over another (by not charging customers for them). Heck, a pack with 3 sockets *is* better than a pack with 1 socket.

Actually, it's not, since you can't put anything in pack sockets

Well thats a bug that will eventually be fixed, then. I think the point of my message still comes through though -- sockets are an item attribute that make it more or less valuable than another item of the same type, so why not charge appropriately?

It's basically the equivalent to item quality in DAoC determining how much spellcrafting can be applied to the object (but our objects don't explode and kill us . Even if many of the powerups are only +1, if you can put 20 of them on you then you have a nice bonus going there.

I agree, but most people don't know/care about sockets right now. Plus once you have a couple of boxes in tailoring 95% of your items are socketed anyway. If they were rarer I'd agree.
