Thread: A matter of etiquette?
Ouch, that is a tough one, and the person that moved next to you sounds pretty "evil" to me. I think there are a few ways of handling this:
a) The "live and let live" approach: move away and be done with her. Look at it as an opportunity to find a better place, and then certainly never speak to this person again.
b)The"let's play nice" approach: to find a way to work with her (as others have suggested). Divide and conquer sort of arrangement.
c) The "ok, it's all out war" approach: Go for revenge and hit her where it hurts. Grind enough so that you can make the "popular" items, then undercut her prices on everything, maybe even rename your store so that it mocks hers. If you have an extra lot, you can have some additional fun with this by placing a structure in front of hers with an "appropriate" name.
Personally, if it were me that this happened to, I'd probably do (a), but give some strong consideration to (c) depending on how angry I was. (b) is a bit too concilatory for me considering the offense, and I prefer to collaborate with people I actually like and trust, rather than my enemies.

I used to have a shop just north of Bestine myself. But I accidently let the maintenance on it go lax and it dissappeared on me. Because of vendor bugs the items were still in the stockroom and I just put them all back up for sale on phantom vendors. Didnt dawn on me until I got half way through the list and saw an item I had just put up the day before. By that time (kept putting it off) it was a day or so later and people had wind harvesters where my house used to be.
Was in bestine last night though and by the way the people jumped on me it seemed there wasn't any tailors around anywhere except Squaw and I. One person even commented on there not being any tailors on Tattoine as a whole and I told her about Kalxiy (Sorry, can never remember how to spell your name right)
Hello Mai!
Nanjaar is the only other master tailor that I know of on Tat, and he's on vacation now.
I think our main concern is that in a few weeks there will be 3 master tailors in one spot. It could work out. Right now I am scouting out other places to move. It's hard for me as silly as it sounds because I have lived there since I started playing the game. But I think I might start scouting around for a new spot, maybe convince my boyfriend to move his house too. That will be such a pain. I hate moving in real life as it is. lol
Hey Mai, can you email me your coords in-game. I am always referring customers to other tailors if I can't help them. ![]()
Though I am technically hurting my own business helping and refering to other tailors im not really to worried about it. First off my shop is in the middle of a heavy imperial village. Not to uncommon to see a squad of stormtroopers with an AT-ST patrolling down the street anymore. Rebels need clothes to after all, and I think many of you are located in Neutral Areas.
Not that I expect any of the Tattoine Tailors to do the same for me, im just being nice.
