Okay, Newmoon brought up a good point over in the Intrepid forum on this topic. Tailors or any merchant that deals in "Factory Packs" or "Bulk Sale Packs" with other crafters and merchants will be hit hard by this not so much because of the overall vendor item limits but due to the Offer Item Limits! We ran through a few scenarios of how we will have to work with this in the future. One word. YUCK!

Basically, it means 1) I can no longer drop factory runs of trim off to chefs, a huge selling point for my business. 2) I can no longer offer full runs of synth, rfp cloths to armorsmiths. 3) One of the merchants I work with on Kauri, buys clothing items from me in bulk. I tend to give him 100-200 pieces at a time in backpacks. That lasts a couple days, before I need to give him more. So, he would have to camp his vendor as I whipped everything out. That could take an hour or so, out of his life, and I would feel pressured to do it all at once ( no pausing to see my fav show!).

Hmm. Since there is no way to view listings from merchant vendors on the bazaar, and vice versa, would the future Merchant Revamp perhaps be consideringhigher or nolimits on merchant vendor offers, but still have limits on bazaar offers?

Hmmm I'm not sure. You should bring that up on the merchant forum (when it becomes less of a zoo).

From how I read it you can still store things or sell things IN backpacks on your vendors, the contents just count against your total number of items on the vendor.
Makes sense I guess. It's still BS with the HUGE storage issues in the game for crafters (a big *whap* to the fool who said "just make less" in that thread).
*shrug*
