Thread: The merchants want our vendors

I know I'll probably get hammered for this, but.....


I have to somewhat agree with the Merchants on this one. What's the point of having a merchant class if anyone who picks up artisan can have a vendor? That's what the merchant is there for, right? I can see possibly getting a little crappy vendor at Bus 4, but it should be really crappy. High maintanance and a cap on the number of items that can be sold on it. Dont' get me wroong, I'd hate to lose my vendor. But, if you think about it, it does make sense.

What point indeed?


So, eliminate the Merchant profession and roll all the associated bonuses into the business line. Result: easier access to retail options for everybody, and no middleman that the laborer has to share his hard-earned income with.


Let's face it, the vendor option for artisans is already ugly and expensive. Making it even worse is just cutting off your nose to spite your face.
