It'll happen... and I can't wait till it does. I can't wait to ditch the backpack for some reason.
I think I will go with either the ammo bandolier or the mercenary... with a twirl of dark sashes every now and then

This is something that I'm sure MANY weaponsmiths would like to know about. Many have either given up on, or just never bought a WS toolkit for the simple reason that it's painful to drop your backpack full of stuff in a crafting house full of resources...
If you do find something out (use /fiddle in your special forum if you must.

I'm human and just noticed I got a mercenary bandolier with 50 capacity. This must have been from the freelance pilot man.

I got one and I'm a Zabrak.
I've wanted to ditch my pack for a long time, I've always liked the bandolier look much better.

Sorry to dig up an old thread but it's something we would all like to see in game. The current bandoliers are pointless as they can't be worn with backpacks and they can't store things. Why make them? Belts with pockets should also allow us to hold a limited amount of stuff in them.
The bandoliers look great but have little or no use. Only the Privateer one is any use and is a nice addition to your clothing.

At least a 25 item stoarge on Bandoliers would be appropriate.

Any privateer pilot profession will give you the Mercenary Bandolier with 50 item storage upon completion of the THIRD mission. You get that as a privateer instead of a flightsuit, and it doesn't matter what species you are.

I hadn't planned on being a pilot, beyond enjoying my soro suub, but I went privateer just to get the bando.. lol!!...I have a twi'lek dancer, and sometimes you simply have toequip a pack, which really looks funky if you're dancing in it!
But I agree, the reward one is a 50 item, making it a nice special reward perk, but tailors need at least a 20 item option for belts/bandos, all-race-useful.
