Even if his intent is questionable, he prolly still finds lots of buyers at his prices, so you should really consider raising your price I think. No matter who buys your stuff, if you get sold out in no time there is a problem IMO, reseller or not.

I do the same, I look at other peoples vendors and buy what ever sells on the bazzar for a profit e.g (+14.58 food and chemical crafting tools) in my player city one shop is selling them for 600cr. So I buy them for 600cr and place them on the bazzar for 2000-3500 (depends on the market at the time). I think it is right. I also own a vendor selling pets and petstims and some guy always used to buy my petmeds and I used to see them on the bazzar for doulbe the price, so now I have raised my prices to the bazzar level but by doing this I don't sell as many.
I said raise your prices...... to that the clothes are worth.

This seems like a really silly thing to be mad about.
You have 2 choices. Either raise your prices to be more in line with the market, or make more stuff.
I cruise the bazaar every day or two. I often find items, particularly armor, that is 1/10th of what it should be. It's usually crappy quality, too... about 1/3 of my stuff. I buy it up and resell on my vendor named 'bargain bin'. I sell it for 1/2 of my going rate, which is still 5x what I paid for it.
This allows me to up the median price of goods, and gives me an opportunity to sell lower-quality goods to folks with limited budgets, and gives a ready comparison of my goods vs. competitors within my own store.
Last week, I sold 6 suits of bone armor for just under 30k a set.
Same trick works for BE clothes.

I feel your pain on this Da'Ahn. I had the same situation a few months ago where I had 3 people wiping out my BE vendor. I was suspicious (Ieven sent one a tell saying I noticed you have purchased a lot of items lately....his response was I just love your stuff. The reality was he loved making money)& finally sent a guild mate undercover. My items were being sold for triple the price (the 3 people had a store together in the Coronet shopping district). I attempted to contact the other people involved personally but they would not respond (and yes I was cordial even thought I was fuming mad). Tailoring has a lot to do with reputation. I pride myself on good customer service & reasonable prices (like many of you do). I do not want my name associated with price gougers or people who have questionable ethics. Here is what I did......I banned them from my store, I made sure everything had my name in the title, I raised my prices, & I made a sign in my BE vendor that said "NO Resellers! All resellerws will be banned". I am happy to say I have not had any problems since then.
Hmm very good points. However, the problem was that he was buying my clothes off the open market, not my personal vendors. And I can't bann someone from buying my stuff off the bazaar, of course. I have since stopped putting my BE'd clothing on the bazaar, and i have set up my own personal vendor to sell BE'd clothing, and raised the prices considerably, but I dont have high enough in advertising to have my vendors shown on the map, so I dont think the guy know about it yet, but I do have admin(though it is not my house)to where my BE vendor is so i think i will add him to the bann list. You guysreally think i should attach my name to all my BE'd creations? If what Dahliaa said is true, then my name might be associated with price gougers, just wondering. Of course if i take the steps to prevent resell, then i might not need to worry about it..hmm, must consider this more.

I had the same thing happen to me a few months ago. I sold a +1 bleed spec ops duster on my vendor for... 2k+ something. I don't recall exactly, but I only charge +500c for any stat bonus under +10. I do brand my clothing - everything I make is "of Doom", and if it's a BE item, there's a prename - for example, the above duster would be a Coagulating Spec Ops Duster of Doom. I was highly surprised to find this item in a shop on the other side of Naboo for 30k, as well as several other items (he also purchased every single cloak I had and resold them for a 300% markup)! Yes, it pissed me off. I appreciate purchasing a cheap item and reselling it at a profit. But trying to sell it for a profit of almost 28k?? This is obscene, in my opinion. Further, I don't want anyone going to this guy's vendor and thinking that of Doom products are normally that ridiculously expensive. What was my remedy? I banned him from my shop.
About a month later, I was restocking my vendor when I get a tell from the very same fellow. I can't get in your shop, he says. Well, I found out that you're reselling my BE clothing at outrageous prices, I told him, so I've banned you. He tells me he can do whatever he wants, and if he wants to resell my stuff, he can. I reply that so can I, which is why he's banned from ever purchasing anything from my shop. I also told him that several of my merchant friends don't like this kind of thing, and that he may very well find himself banned from several other shops on planet. But, he tells me, he's grinding AS, and he needs lots of synth cloth. I told him perhaps if he looked around, he might find someone who bought my synth cloth and is selling it on their vendor for three times as much. Barring that, he's not getting any of my products. He cursed at me for a bit, I ignored him, and that was the end of that.
Since the bazaar sale cap was raised, I do sell my lower end BE items on the bazaar. I raise my prices for the bazaar - seems an odd way to try to drive business to your shop, but I do it because I know peeps will resell what they find on the bazaar, and I feel better about it if I make more dough, under the belief that they will make less. If the buyer reads the item description, they'll discover that that same item would be cheaper if they bought it at my shop.
If someone is reselling your items, and you don't like it, ban them if you can. If you don't have a problem with it, don't. Jerks come in all flavors and sizes. Just don't give yourself an ulcer over it. They're not worth it.

I'll have to say that being a Merchant and a Master Tailor I do aquire items off the bazaar and resell them. My clothes are very cheap and I run into the "empty vendor" problem a lot from people buying my items to resell. Ultimately you can try and contact them and try to arrange a wholesale line for them or make more clothes. This game as well as life has merchants withtheir sole purpose is merchandising and reselling of manufactured goods.
