I think those gloves you saw may have been the long uniform gloves. They do look great with sleeveless clothes, but I can't imagine why they are called uniform gloves. But if we have long gloves, doesn't it just beg for long boots to go with it? Symmetry in style people. Symmetry.
We really don't have a nice pair of long gloves that will go with sleeved dresses and such. Just last night - had a customer that purchased a very nice scarlet intricate dress - it has sleeves.
She wanted some long gloves to go with it. We tried scarlet uniform gloves - and they would have worked perfectly - had her dress not disappeared when she put them on.
While it WAS a look - it certanly wasn't the look she was going for.

Just make sure they fix the 'Master Tailor / Armorsmith bug' first, I already have 230 odd clothing schems, a few more will break my crafting tool 
Not to derail the thread at all, but we need one thing much more than we need more footwear:

You many now resume your discussion of footwear (which will be nice too).
LOL! Well, we've gone into great detail what kinds of shoes we'd like to have. Perhaps we should start a thread just for hats. What kind of hats do we want in addition to the ones we do have? I admit, the only "hat" I think I'd wear is the Swoop Helm, and I am afraid that just doesn't look good with a Suit jacket and skirt ensemble for that Businesswoman look.
Well heck. I'll start a hat thread, with what I just said. Cuz I want more-better hats too.
