I have made some stunning outfits for men, usually from brave souls who have peiced together unusual outfits. At Master level there are SO many things we can make...and admittedly we do make alot of dusters etc since those are the hot items. I forget about certain things until someone asks for it, then usually go "oh wow, that looks cool"

One example was this: white reinforced pants with black, white/black padded jacket, sturdy boot with white upper and black lower, black cartridge belt, black work gloves. Looked wicked as heck when it was all put toether...and was something I didn't see around much.

Trim lined shirts, infiltrator suits (for men yes!), dress robe (looked russian), dress uniform jackets, etc...lots of cool things out there if you experiment.

Well here is a problem I had with my Main character who is a Master Musician and now working on Rifleman...

I want to diffrent uniforms for the roles I play one as MM and one as RM. For MM I have been trying for an all white outfit (started with white with yellow highlights). I found a tailor willing to work with me on this one and I we quickly learned that a really nice white on the jackets is almost imposable because it normally comes out as a light grey. This is really crappy as the Uniform boots and pants I have are a nice bright white.

Just something to think about.... Oh and I would love to see something like more formal wear.

The problem with most of the men's stuff is not that it looks bad--most of it doesn't. The problem is that it takes lots of experimenting to piece outfits together that look good, and it's something you don't get much practice with on your way up the tree, because all the items that look good together are spread out across different trees, which in itself is a good thing, as it gives tailors of all stripes something to contribute. But because lots of the stuff in a single branch doesn't match up well with other items in that branch, it takes a lot of experience mixing and matching from the three styles to find the good combinations.

Here's just a couple of goodoutfits I've put together recently:

Dress slacks(not comfortable or striped), Desert Command Jacket, and Thermal Boots

Paramilitary Camos, Decorative Vest, and a Trim Lined Shirt

Comfortable Slacks, Undershirt, Wooly Jacket and Dress Shoes or Casual Shoes (doesn't look as pimp-ish as it sounds, but you could add a cold-weather hat and call it a kango )

Of course you have to be pretty far along as a tailor to produce these outfits, but I offer them as examples of what's out there. Most of these items by themselves look at the very least out of place, and at worst ridiculous, unless put together with the right accessories. The same principle applies to mixing and matching women's clothes.

My personal fav I've been using since I hit Novice.
Ribbed Shirt w/ matching Ribbed Pants. Yeah, i know, sounds lame. But it makes a cool jumpsuit/flightsuit lookin thing.
