Again, I've heard that, but I've never seen any indication of why it's being said. Call me a skeptic…or an optimist…but where is this information coming from?

Most of the universe's problems can be solved by the application of a brick to the side of the right head.
The problem is if you don't have a big enough brick or can't find the right head. The devil is in the details.

If you talk to the npc guy and ask about the parts Tailors make, he tells you you'll need to bring a Master Tailor. Looks like StGabe only took a screenshot of the armorsmith text.

Bleah. Well, on the plus side, I've already committed to being combat backup with the Swordsman/Teras Kasi toon…can't be both mes at the same time, so I guess I just have to worry about keeping the Tailor/DE/AS part of the team alive once this thing hits Live.

Edit: 5 stars for StGabe. Not his fault this is how things are, and he was nice enough to take the time to give us a heads up.

Aw, I'm sorry. I didn't see yours. And I 5 star'd him because he was at 2 for some unknown reason—I'd do the same for you if I'd known (and you'd gotten bandit'd )

Yeah, I only took a screenshot for the armorsmith branch of the conversation (for their pieces) but the conversational threads are the same with "master armorsmith" replaced by "master tailor". We went back today and he seems to be saying the same stuff (actually now I think the patch message referred to some other npc). We still haven't gotten to the actual components let alone to dragging a tailor in with us, but we're getting there. The place is huge.

I see this as a way for tailors who choose to do so to get involved in the adventures that other characters are having . . . or not. My armorsmith character is looking forward to partaking. But I know that it's not everyone's cup of tea. I'm just providing what info I can -- make of it what you will.

Flynn McDonnell -- Master Weapon Smith (+22 exp), Armorsmith (+25 exp)
Lorrinne McDonnell -- Nightsister (pike/doc)

I agree. I think it's a great idea. I don't go on any adventures because of my weak combat and I would just be dead weight normally. But this changes everything. You just have to be careful and stay back from all the heavy fighting and you should be fine. I can't wait to go in!

Will this dungeon be instanced?

No, it has a static location in the world (it's a bunker in the middle of nowhere on Endor). But the place is huge. I imagine that it could support a good number of groups at once. If you played EQ, think Lower Guk squared.

I'm hiding lest they try to drag me down to the dungeon, though brave Sir Gaffyn has said that protecting a helpless crafter (read: damsel in distress) would be "fun" - and then turned around and said he would bring his armorsmith Flynn (making him the helpless damsel... hmmm). So much for my delusions of brave Sir Gaffyn rescuing me from the dragon /sigh.

If you create a toon on Kettemoor and grind real fast you can be the damsel for the party I'm going with…thank god I can't be both mes at once, or I'd be the poor tailor shrinking from the evil Mandolorians.
