I get the occasional mutant womp rat next to my factory, but I'm pretty quick with the factory commands, so I can usually just let it whack me a few times until I'm done with my factory business and ride off.
I used to have all of my shops in player cities, but I was able to get a plot of land 800m outside of Coronet starport with no buildings obstructing the way there. Its hard to find a better location than that!

I am using a carbine. carbine 4 in marksgirl is the maximum i could sqeeze in and i like the carbines for being so star-warsy.
Enough for self defense, too weak for decent hunting though.

I like your style, Ipita!
I was secretly hoping the best weapon would be a gun of some kind, as the melee weapons just seem out of place in Star Wars. It's especially true considering that I'm an Imperial and would quite like to wander about in Stormtrooper armour at some point in the game.. I might look a little bit silly weilding an axe!
