I am male, and one of my toons was a tailor for quite a while, and I am thinking of going back to it once more. I have one crafting toon, and one combat toon.

The only annoying thing is that some people will pm you assuming that you are a female, so you might get a lot of 'hey baby, can you make me some clothing?'

They are then surprised when a 6-foot male twi'lek shows up

The only bad part about tailor is the grind. Boooorrrrrinnnnngggg. I did it in a couple days the first time (I've done it twice), but it gets really boring.

The money can be okay, I found that most people tipped anywhere from 5k - 75k for just about any item I made. Don't have a set price list or you will go broke, work mostly for tips. I usually gave noobs free clothing too, so that they'd come back to me for sales once they got established in the game. Just go into busy cantinas or outside busy starports and /shout that you are working, and you'll get lots of requests.

One more thing, set up a factory and put out a few crates of black hooded cloaks. Put them on the vendors and you'll sell a couple each day probably. Everybody wants black hooded cloaks . I swear,I could probably run a business just from selling black hooded cloaks lol.

take care friends
lots of good times
