Also let's not forget that factories produce slower than hand crafting, and that we are still forced to be logged on and in the vicinity of the factory to get any experience at all.

Are you sure you're getting self use xp? I'd double check that if I were you. Pantaloons, casual 4, yield roughy 80 xp during the final combine, and that's with 6 synth cloth and around 30 raw resources. (I'm working from memory here).

Yes actually I am. You see the xp comes in2 waves. The self usage xp comes when you make the first combine check. The rest of the xp comes when you complete the customization process.

keep in mind the dresses have 6 seperate boxes, which might added to the usage xp. Maybe it doesn't count the stacked types. I don't know. I do know I self usage exsists cause I was watching it last night when i noticed Ixp was actually moving making Formal Gowns. I haven' had time to do hard number calculations mainly because its going to be a mute point. We were never meant to have self usage xp from consuming subcomponents. I actually was told by a dev in beta I wasn't getting any when I had the numbers right in front of me. LOL

The self usage xp is being removed on test center anyways. So enjoy it while you can. Even without though the xp is still not bad. Not great but considering the resources you spend at master lvl for NO xp you kinda need to rework your menality about the purpose of making complex items, or you'll be very disollusioned when you hit master tailor.

It's not as if I'm trying to power my way to master, I'm just trying to point out an important issue. Don't forget...non-master crafters already have enough trouble competing in the market as it is until they get at least a few boxes in an elite profession, without higher level players cutting into what business they have. I'm close enough to master that I can make it the rest of the way without my clicker falling off, but that doesn't mean the current situation is a good one. Until the devs speak up and explain otherwise, I will continue to consider the current system broken. <shrug>
