10. Endor Rebel forces strike team helmets.

To me at least, the swoop helmet(sans googles)looks like the helmet that Leia and the other Rebels wore on Endor.

I'd be happy with just one hat so long as it was that one 'flower pot' warm hat. I call them Fez Hats and wear one all the time!

My factory is called "Feen's Fez Factory" and my shop when i relocate will change from "Feen's Floodplain Fashions" To "Feen's Fezeriffic Fashions"

In UO i had to settle for standing beneath a floated cup & dice to wear a Fez (just not good enough) and so now that we have a hat in UO that meets my Fezzy standards (could do with a Tassel tho) I have found the game for me!!!

although, yeah - i concur, we do need more hats.
The thing they said in beta was that hats were the hardest tho since heads are the biggest variation between species and thus a lot more work in the art dept for more hats and even then some species probably wont be able to wear some...

ah well, we'll see.

Im just happy that one of our meagre selection is a fez hat.
(you should try gettiing a fez IRL and and going out with a couple mates, at least three of you all wearing fez hats, go to night clubs etc. I Kid You Not we had women throwing ourselves at us!!!!! I think it was just cos it was something out of the ordinary ... but man we were like celebrities !!)

hehehe

Something that's recognizable as a cowbow hat would be out of place, but there should be some futuristic variation of a wide-brimmed hat that would serve just as well.

Somebody wake the art team up

They are planning to add new schematics as part of the monthly story arcs, but there's no telling how long it'll take for these to filter down to us lowly non-1337 faxxon dewds.

Out of curiosity, does anybody know if that Imperial perk hat is a humans-only item or somesuch? I've always suspected that the reason there aren't that many hats, especially of more "standard" types, is:

1. They have to be either be scalable and reasonable looking for guys like Mon Calamari and Bothans, etc., and
2. The easiest way to do this, and account for stuff like Bothan ears, is to cover them. Thus, virtually all the hats cover the entire head except for the face.

Beret's wouldnt be out of place in SWG its a basic hat, for that matter neither would some style of a wide brimmed hat, after all its a simple usefull design. I am not saying cowboy hat or anything but there are tons of wide brimmed hat designs that would work good. Maybe a bolero or even a floppy recon looking hat. There just has to be a better variety than what we have now.

YES! Twi'leks have a beautiful selection of hats, but when contacted about doing wedding apprael for a human...or any other race for that matter...I realized we don't have ANYTHING for a human female to wear...uh...except that silly looking formal headdress that no one really wants to wear. We need some nice veils and tira's...and wreaths. Pretty please...pretty please with...hmm...strawberries!

Oh, and btw...a cowboy hat...that's an awesome idea...I bet I'd sell about a million of them.

Agreed agreed agreed.

The devs need to make more headgear, hairpieces for the characters. In the movies there are tons and tons and tons of different head/hair pieces that characters wear, the extras, main chracters...

What I would really love is Padme's hairpiece in the Picnic scene and in her return to Tatooine with the silver on her forehead and her hair in those buns and with loose curls.

Oh, and how come the intricate dress didn't come with a veil?? They went through the trouble of having wedding rings...but no wedding attire. Dumb.

Okay my two cents.

Well Star Wars is supposed to be long, long ago, so presumably it was before the old west and before cowboy hats?

Personally I think cowboy hats would be really non-SW style, I don't really havea reason for this, it would just feel wrong. Kind of the same reason I wouldn't want them to add football helmets, I just think it wouldn't "go." I realize that doesn't make much sense, it's just my personal sense of what feels Star Warsy and what doesn't.

actually wide brim hats (eg cowbays hats) are very old and were not created in the old west, just gained a lot popularity during that time period. the wide brim hat is one of the oldest forms of hat in history, aside from simple head raps. They are simple to make and very functional. It would not be illogical that they would appear in another universe with human like beings.

I'm not against a wide-brimmed style hat, just super cowboy looking ones. I'm not trying to say "No!! They Better Not Add Those!!" I'm just stating my preference. I'd rather not see Mon Cals running around in Stetsons.
