Almost anything with +25 injury/wound has become hugely popular on Lowca!

I haven't noticed big trends lately to be honest. BE clothing sells extremely well, other than that I really sell all kind of stuff, with maybe a bit more striped slacks/dusters/cloaks than anything else, but I have sold all kinds of shirts (plain, dress, suit, anything) and jackets (reinforced, heavy reinforced) in the past week... Heck I have even sold a long vest!

I'm sure every tailor did this... When I got a new skill, the first thing I did was spend an hour making one of everything and trying combinations.... If I loved it, I would change the colour and try something else. If I didn't, I would put it aside to maybe give another chance later.

I even went back after I hit master and made everything again, just to see what color pallets I'd get.

I've thought about this one for a while now and have to say, because I don't cater to the players who want the "popular" items, I can honestly say I don't know what the popular clothing is. More oftne than not, when someone asks for something, especially if it's in black, I will politely recommend something different. I love the way reinforced pants looks on trandoshans and when you throw on a Heavy Reinforced Jacket, it turns into a pretty cool and somewhat unique outfit. I recently ran into a guildmate wearing a black and white doctor's dress and promptly informated him that he needed to make time for a fitting with me. My goal is to create outfits that aren't so unique that people will look strange, but different enough so that they won't see a mirror image of themself in every shuttleport they go to. 9 times out of 10 they will take my suggestions and be happy enough to come back with a request for "another outfit like the one you made me before, you know, cool looking, but different."

I try not to make duplicates of the Grand Ball Gown and sell them as, one of a kind designs, I refrain from using black as a primary color in anything, and above all, I try to design an outfit that will fufill the character's personality and desired function.

While popular clothing might be considered a sure thing as far as sales are concerned, I would instead recommend focusing on what looks good on the character as opposed to the current fad.

I get tired of the doctor's dress (Rayden wanna-be's)...I wear a reinforced pullover and it gonna start a new trend.

Another thing which seems to be very popular is spec-op backpacks. People not only want them to wear, but to use as storage in their houses. A lot of people are snobbish, and want a little bit more than the regular travel pack hanging around their house.

I am trying to start a new trend with the Dress Robe. Very cool item with a unique color palette and different texture. I wear it in a nice deep red with white trim and similarly colored wrinkled pants and casual shoes. I have had a number of comments on it and it is selling

Oh yeah, man I've been selling a ton of those dress robes lately. I wear them a lot, mostly deep red with gold trim or ice blue with silver trim paired with bikini leggings in a complimentary shade. And I keep one or more displays of the dress robe in my shop too. Guys and Gals both have been snapping them up. Of course, the guys mostly want them in a dark earthy color or white (Hugh Hefner Look) but the gals take them in the whole rainbow, and that robe sure does have a lovely rainbow.
