Yes! 50 sounds very good to me, maybe even 100 I keep a warehouse full of comps and doing factory runs to keep up with demand. Larger crates would greatly help to ease constant storage constraints at what ought to a minimum impact to database size.

SC is the biggest problem, but most of the rest could be at 50 as well, fasteners and fiberplast panels are after all...

for the shear amount of subcomponents we need i say bring em up to 100 per crate(at the very least 50) for all of the items

i think same should go for archetects too

hell, if the database is so fukced that they need to nerf the shlt out of vendors then give us the ability to control crate size, and let us make crates of 1000.

I do have to say that I absolutly do not understand the reasoning behind an item cap on a crate. I remember back in beta when resources were capped really, really low. It was messy, it was a hastle, it ate up database space. So, they shot it up, way up to 100k. Why can't we do the same thing with crates? Why can't crates hold, say, 1000 of any given item? We can split them now, so selling them in smaller doses is NOT an issue. It'll free up space in my inventory, it'll lighten the load on the server, it's a win-win scenario.

Yes, if crate cap was 1k I would be able to eliminate half of my storage slots and one warehouse. Not to mention less time shuffling around moving crates here and there one by one.

It would be nice if "ALL" crates were made in the same quantity. I never understood why Metal Fasteners & Fiber Panels were the only ones that had 50 in a crate and every other component produces only 25 per crate?

If they can't have all components come in crates of 50, at least make Synthetic Cloth 50 per crate. I usually carry around 100 on me at a time and I think it really would help on inventory space, etc. This petition really gets my vote. Good Post
