my outfit:

Desert jacket (melee)

FF shirt (melee)

tipless gloves (4 socket)

Bandolier (melee)

Camos (melee)

boots (3-4 sockets)

usually black and some other color.... this is my popular outfit... most jedi orders i get are not asking for the medic tissue anymore, but i have also substituted some melee tissue with war/int tissue also, as my new big request.

if i get medic order, i will put it in sunguard (black) and in the camos with melee tissue

Please clarify. I've met quite a few aspiring jedi that think they can add to their padawan's defenses by wearing the gloves, hat, and belt that have the defensive tissues in them. Not to be rude, but how do you know for sure that this doesn't work?

I'm a Master Tailor on Shadowfire and have made countless items for all the Jedi on our server over the last few months. I can assure you that noBE tissues can go into gloves. There are no places to put the tissues in when crafting them. I don't know how/why the rumor got started that tissues can be put in them but it's urban legend. I have at least one jedi a week come to me insisting that I can make gloves with melee/stun defense LOL I will hazzard a guess that what they actually have are gloves with Skill Tapes attached. As far as hats go the original poster of this thread is 100% correct that no defensive tissues can go into hats or belts, it's just not possible.

I have been master tailor for about 1 year. I am a jedi as well. I am quite sure of what I say. The padawan robes (and knight robes as well) take up the boots, pants, shirt, jacket, backpack/bandolier, shoulder, forearm slots.

The only slots available are the hands, belt and head

There was a time (one day, I believe) when BE tissues were able to be put into armor and keep their mods. It's possible that there are some Composite gloves floating about with defensive tissues in them (I'm assuming that Comp. gloves require RFP's, of course), and that may be where the rumor was started.

These gloves are the result of a bug, and can no longer be reproduced.

NO tailor-made gloves, boots, or belts require synth cloth or RFP's, which are where BE tissues are put-- so no bonuses can be added to these items.

+16 melee right there combined with the FS melee of +20 is defently helpful. Anyone kow if you can wear the FF shirt and and additional shirt under the desert command jacket? Or can you wear a bandolier of the Desert Comannd Jacket? Never hurts to have another +4 melee.

No you can only wear one shirt at a time. Jacket, shirt, pants and a bandolier are the only BE'd clothing you can wear at a time that have extra melee defence. You can also wear a hat that has non-combantant bonuses such as IT/WT or Dancing/Music bonuses

What I do for Jedi who want a complete outfit is:

1 Reinforced Jacket (4/18 Melee/Stun Def) (4 Sockets)
1 Formfitting Undershirt (4/18 Melee/Stun Def) (4 Sockets)
1 Paramilitary Camos (4/18 Melee/Stun Def) (4 Sockets)
1 Multipocket Bando (4/18 Melee/Stun Def) (4 Sockets)
1 Lightweight Military Pack (if only sockets counted......)

1 Uniform Boots (4 sockets)
1 Link-Steel Reinforced Gloves (4 Sockets)
1 Sunguard/Lekku thingie (4 sockets)

Sometimes, very rarely they will want the Inj/Wnd Treatment mods incorporated into the outfit. In this case, I make a Spec-Ops Duster instead of Reinforced Jacket with 4/18 Melee/Stun Def (4 sockets) and 18/18 Inj/Wnd - I add 18/18 Inj/Wnd into the Camos and 18/18 Inj/Wnd into the hat.

I have happy Jedi customers =^.^*=
