or you could do what I do; just wear the armor when your overt or in danger of being attacked. Otherwise wear street clothes.

Mmm. On my TK chars, I usually go without pants.
I wear the helmet, biceps, bracers, gloves, boots, chest and a short wrap or wrapped skirt. If I'm just running around in little danger of getting chewed up, I take off the chest piece and helmet too, and wear a low-cut or revealing top, with either the comp leggings or the short wrap or wrapped skirt and the arm pieces. Looks good. Especially if you add a Mabari belt over the short wrap skirt that matches your armor color too.
A Padded armor chest piece, Mabari leggings, boots and gloves is my second favorite "combat style."

ok armor is bugged right now that it thinks 4 pieces are a full suit. There is no armor hole, i dont care if you have a leg hit or if BH fast blast has a tendency to hit arms, Helmet-Chest-Gloves-Boots read as a full suit of armor. Again a full suit with no holes in them. Pants and Arms just gives extra encumbrance.

EDIT: Realizing this is going far afield from the original post. So going to let it drop.

I hate to bring up this old dead horse thread and beat at it...but is this guy right about only 4 pieces of armor = full armor?
I was going through pages of tailor information to find out the best clothes to put skill attachments in and I came across this...and now i'm wondering if I can wear more clothes than I had previously thought with my full set of armor.
So...what gives?

It's probably just a targetting bug. PVE enemies will target the head, chest, boots, gloves, but nothing else. a PVP opponent will definately target your legs if they see you coming at them with camo pants.

It's also not a reliable targetting bug. I've had Kamurith hit in the bracers/biceps/leggings slots before, although whether they would now if I went up against them is questionable.

There appears to be a "reverse armor hole" since the introduction of wookiee armor - and you only have to wear chest, gloves, boots and helm. But I could be wrong, I'm not very good at paying attention to my combat logs, and I generally wear full ubese when I'm out and about as my doc, just to be safe.

I think that this is a bug that was introduced as an easy way to make tantel and wookiee armor work. I guess they didn't want to have separate code for all the different types of armor (especially since they can be mixed and matched).
