I disagree slightly. although it is clear that in the end, you'll be more successful, of course, if you work hard reaching master status, pricing right and having a great and advertised shop ... tailors still have an enormous advantage that sets them apart from most other artisans.

1) In most cases (of course, some people want socketed 4 clothes but they are not the majority), the "quality" and skill level of your clothes doesn't matter (no working experimentation, decay not implemented)

2) The value of a cloth is subjective, while the value of a piece of armor or of a weapon is objective. Mabari is a decent, but newbish armor which doesn't protect from energy damage. The basic weaponsmith weapons suck hard, actually weaker than fullly experimented CDEF's. Mouse droids are cute, but useless ... The list goes on. However, there are still novice tailors items that some people will find cool. The "neo" smock is an example, but there are a large variety of shirts, pants, jackets (the rugged jacket is one of the best looking jacket in the game) that peopla can find to their liking. They arenot "weaker" than higher level tailor items. Well of course, there is more and more "cool stuff" the higher you are in the tailor tree. But you still have that
