Poll: Your Vendors, Your Stuff
Vendors:
- How many vendors do you have for clothing or tailoring components, total. Do not count clothing attachment vendors. Please let us know if you share specific vendors with a business partner (i.e. that you both put items on the same vendor. Otherwise, just list the vendors that YOU stock).
4 Clothing Vendors.
- 'Normal' clothing/BE clothing/custom order pick-up
- Wookiee/Ithorian
- Tapestries
- Men's Wedding Attire
I just took down the Holiday/Christmas Vendor, but similar ones might pop up for other Holidays.
Vendor Limits (Please include ONLY your stuff that you make. If you have a business partner, you can let us know about his/her business in Question 10.)
- How many items do you normally stock for unenhanced regular clothing? This includes unenhanced clothing that can be worn by most species, including backpacks and jewelry, but not Wookiee or Ithorian wearables.
200-300 (but i've been slacking on stocking vendors) I also don't stock much in the way of Jewlery or other accessories.
- How many items do you normally stock for unenhanced Ithorian clothing?
Working on getting one of each on the vendor- Ithorian clothing is mostly by custom order since there aren't many in existance.
- How many items do you normally stock for unenhanced Wookiee clothing?
3-4 of each item, but once again, I've been slacking on stocking vendors.
- How many BE items do you normally stock?
Probably about 50. I only stock BE clothing when the mood hits me, otherwise BE is all custom orders.
- How many crates of tailoring components do you normally stock?
None, but I have been thinking of stocking some recently. These have been custom order in the past. I DO NOT sell schematics.
- How many looted tailoring items (i.e. jabba's apron) do you keep in stock?
I probably have 5-10 on my vendor right now, been meaning to stock more for a few days now
- What is your total stock of clothing items?
- Around 700 items

I have one specialized vendor - Men's Wedding attire. Business is sporatic, and slow right now, but that might be due to the time of year
- Do you have a clothing business partner? If so, tell us about it.
- I work with a partner for the wedding attire. She stocks women's, and I stock men's. We have seperate vendors. She takes care of everything else (ie the boutique/chappel is on her lots, she decorated it, etc.) I think it works out well

Forgot to mention a few things, and apparently I can't edit my posts anymore.
I have been considering renaming my vendors to see if that brings in more business (I don't get many vendor sales right now)
To add to the Partner Section: I have 3 vendors I am loaning out to guildies. 2 for Shipwright and one for Bio-pets and other Critters. The guildie crafts everything to go on the vendor, puts the items somewhere convienant for both of us, and sends me a pricing list. I then transfer the items from storage to the vendor, forward emails when items sell, bank tip sales from the day, and take 10% of total sales.

I have 6 Venders.. Womens Wear, Mens Wear Wookie/Ithorian Wear, Bio Clothing, Jewelry and Clearance. The clearance vender is for when I end up not matching correctly or miss type a word sell it for less.

hmm about 175 atm depends how often I can get bio tissue sometines it gets hard

none by order only

I have about 25 atm

I have in stock about 1800 Tailor items

dont really specialize in anything just try to keep alittle of everything and keep my customers happy and keep them coming back
