For those bitching about the star wars feeling of it all having blue cloaks and such, does it make much sense that in a world where flying in space is a routine thing, where technology blows ours out of the water, that their unable to make a blue cloak when they want one?

If we can have lime green hair and yellow eyes...why not a nice purple or blue cloak? I personally would think it would have been easier to use one universal color palette for all things, then again I am no computer programmer. I just want to make my clothes match....ugh.

Uggh, that combination of green hair, yellow eyes, and a purple cloak nearly makes me as sick as when they changed the forum colors to puke red, clash brown, and rainbow names.

I too would like to see the cloaks (and all pieces of clothing) made with huge varities of color. The way I see it, we got only a sliver of the galaxy represented to us in the Star Wars movies. We saw the stark blacks, blues, greys and whites of the Empire/Sith and we saw the organic tans, browns, and greens of the Alliance/Jedi. The only time we really see anybreakfrom that in the films is when we view the Mos Eisley Cantina and Jabba's Palace--both which are rundown and attract scum, but they are more vibrant than what we see in the rest of the films.

Looking at the other movies, including pre-Empire times, when we get a look at the nightclub and the senate, I see plenty of bright green, blue, red, gold, and orange cloaks of one sort or another.

The more individuality and variety we are able to get in clothing, the better. It allows everyone to have a style and serves to make the galaxy more fun and vibrant.

Also, I recall several outfits that weren't traditionally modest from the movies. Here are just a few links to outfits that aren't altogether...there.

There are manytimes when thepeople of Star Wars aren't quite clothed to sociatal norms. Hopefully society will change that soon.
