Very male... and NJ's poll shows that men edge out the women. I'd say that's due to the fact that the majority of SWG players are probably male (nature of the virtual beast, I'd say).

I'd like to come up with a cute witty answer ... but my brain must be sleeping ...
Female all around

I am a male in RL and play a male tailor.
It is just a flat out fun profession... There is little of the stress that comes with many other crafting professions and a lot of opporatunity to meet new people every day.

Female in game, female out of game.
I had to add another check mark in the ladies column.

Alcen's a Male Human. I'm a Male Human. Hours of fun for all!
Hopefully I'll get that FS slot unlocked one of these years and make a Female Twi'lek who can wear all the fancy clothes.
Being a guy hasn't hurt my business any: it's all about how much time you spend on it, whether it's restocking a vendor or talking with your customers.

My tailor is a female twilek, my combat char is a human female. I am female in real life. I've always played female chars, because I am female. Tho I often have people ask me if I'm really a girl. It's the curse of the virtual world. The majority of gamers are male, or male in drag. lol
Tho I admit, I have been tempted to play a male character a time or two, but never have tried it.

Once a guy in a game didn't believe I was a real female and started asking me quiz questions related to "feminine products." I was taken aback, and at the same time, confused by his logic. After all, if he, as a guy, knew the answers to his quiz questions, who is to say I'm not another guy who is also knowlegable about feminine items.

Posting a real pic on swg-faces seemed towipe any doubts from most people's minds for me...I also made a lot of new friends that way. The boys get excited over the rl chicks for some reason.
