Thread: Tailoring Technical Bug Issues:
"1) Tailoring and Armor Smithing. There is an error when you interact with a public or private crafting station and you have mastered tailoring and have at least Novice Armor Smithing. The tool will report an error that no schematics exist. The Tool functions fine if away from the influence of a craft station."
Is there any information as to when this bug is going to be fixed. I have been a Master Tailor for about a week and aquired Novice Armorcrafter last night, only to discover this bug. I've never visited these forums before thus did not know this was a known issue.
Needless to say I'm now forced to abandon my Armorcrafting skill (and my plans to master it) in order to keep my tailoring business running.
Very disappointed and surprised todiscover thisconsidering Tailoring/Armor Crafting are two classes that go hand in hand better than nearly any others in the game.
Last word on this bug was in our reply to our first set of issues, and it was "Is it still happening?"
Would like to send in the theory that having more than 256 - ish schematics is what breakes the tool.
Luxurous Gown should be added to bugged colors. Bodice defaults to Teal no matter what.
Changing skirt color or white/white area a separate issue. I would even be happy if we could have it the way it was pre-patch....bodice any color, lace skirt default black. But yes, ideally having both be able to change would be good.
That dress and the Sigiled Waist wrap are big sellers....they should have been fixed right after the patch broken them ![]()
Ditto on needing an estimated timeframe for a tailor/armorsmith fix.
Been a master tailor for a while. Last night Ihated to surrender some merchant skills and spend general crafting xp to get novice armorsmith, but I did it. You all know what happened when I tried to craft something while standing by a station.
So now I don't want to surrender novice armorsmith, only to discover this problem will be fixed in a week or two. Obviously, a time estimate for a fix to this issue would be of great help.

Somewhat surprisingly, you *can* wear Long Uniform Gloves with the Infiltrator Bodysuit, but the problem is that the bodysuit sleeves layer *over* the gloves, so they basically just end up looking like your ordinary short gloves. Long gloves would make a really nice accessory to bodysuits.
I've got the schematics from Eng I-IV, DA I-IV, the whole Tailoring tree, Organic Chemistry I-IV, Buildings I and Installations I from Architect, Novice Scout camps and traps, and Bioengineering Tissues II. I haven't counted, but I think I've broken 256 schematics with no issues.

For number 6.. I believe the Dress Robe is under the jackets category..
Yes it is. However, it does in fact layer over clothing like a jacket, so I think that it is properly categorized, just poorly named.

Bio enhancements have never worked at all, so how they could be nerfed is beyond me. But those issues are being handled in the Bio Engineer forums. The new fixes haven't even made it to the test server more or less the live server. Before I start pointing out bugs with them I want to see how these new fixes behave once they come out. Which should be soon.
Since the initial BE tissue line fixes are targeted for the next major update, it's probably prudent to wait at least until they're on test.
But as a general comment: BE tissue line issues get short shrift in the BE forums. It's not that bioengineers don't care, exactly; there are any number of heated debates on whether any of the tissues work. But it seems that once they leave the lab, the tissues cease to be a BE concern. The overwriting issue is a prime example -- I and others have tried to raise the issue, but the BEs don't know enough tailoring (and the Tailors don't know enough bioengineering) to really grasp the problem.
The armorsmith/tailoring bug is another such issue that falls between the cracks. Because it only affects those who do both, neither pure Tailors nor pure Armorsmiths show much interest, and the issue is thus deemphasized even though it completely gates those it affects.
In general, I think it's better to have two correspondants working on an overlapping issue than to assume that the other one will handle it and ending up with nobody reporting on it. After all, our ideal solution to any given issue may be much different from the bioengineers'.
I would like to see long gloves able to be worn with jackets that have sleeves. I wanteda Hoth outfit and none of the cuffed gloves are weearable with the Scout jacket
I do realize with even some shirts there is a clipping issue, but the ability to choose for ourselves should be an option.
