WHEW * reinstates her 2 accounts*
I'll only have to dump 2000 items to hit that limit. Of course, it still means I can't carry a full line of tailored goods AND armor ( master all of all 3). It just means I'll have to master merchant on BOTH of my accounts to compensate ( that's the real reason for this nerf!)

I'm so happy with this new proposal! It is a great compromise they came up with. I've been considering expanding my company out to other locations, but with the original limits they proposed, it was not going to happen.

anyone heard about whether or not it will be an exploit to have a merchant tent without effiency 4? I can do 1 tree of merchant and will have to do the management tree to get the extra vendors. (I'm changing all my skills around to my alt)
As of today you may still keep a vendor tent after dropping the skills. It was checked out earlier on TC. Whether it is an exploit or not is up to the CSRs I guess. but it is possible.
I still need to know what otherstuff we will retain if we drop merchant skills.
I am assuming you lose the ability to globally advertise without the advertisingskills, but have heard nothing about it.
I would also like to know if you drop the hiring line if you will still be able to have dressed vendors or will they default?
Not really for or against any of it. just want some answers.

1) If you drop merchant skills, and you are not qualified to have a certain number of vendors, you can't put ANYTHING up for sale, until you destroy enough vendors so you qualify again.
Example: You have 6 vendors. You are a novice merchant. It won't let you put anything up for sale until you destroy 3 vendors so you have 3 vendors like you are supposed to.
2) Nothing happens if you drop hiring 4 to the clothing on your vendors
3) Nothing happens if you drop eff 4 to merchant tents
However, don't get too comfortable with having your clothing and tents without the skills to back em up. This is NOT the merchant revamp. That's in the future and all bets are off. Proceed with caution.

Well if that is the max item limit finalised i am happy, just come back from having quit a month ago, and all my old stock has gone anyway so just 2750? item limit which i would currently have is a bit harsh but i think i could cope with that considering i expected a lot worse.

i like these new changes. Ive tried different crafting professions, but tailor is the only one i *really* enjoy. Partially because i dont have to hunt the galaxy for resources, or worry about whos putting out better product than i. After deciding that other crafting profs weren't for me i opted to master merchant for 2 reasons.
1) to start up a new tailoring buisness
2) to use a few of the vendors for a themed Imperial house im cobbling together.
3) sell Master Artisan thingies (PUPs and swoops)
dunno what ill do with the 22 or so SP i have left tho....
