Thread: Tailors please keep track of sales

This month is awful for me, so honestly, I don't want sales. I don't have time to login and deal with vendors. I just hope I don't forget which weekend it is that all my clothes are gonna drop.
My hours at this point are 8-7, and when I finally get home, I thank the lucky stars for auto-deduct for structures as I crawl into bed.

putting clothes back on my vendor every few weeks has got to be the biggest headache for a tailor ... I think its the biggest bane of our profession. Hope you feel better soon hun

I gave up my shop long ago because keeping the vendor stocked was too much like asecond job. Now I sell solely on the bazaar. It's a nice steady income. I concentrate on selling the higher-end items so as not to compete with novice tailors starting out. With the increase to 20k, my sales are better than ever. I can now sellmaster-level items without taking a loss and have picked up a few BE tissues and crafted some enhanced clothing at 20k an item as well.
Overall the change has been very good for my sales.
Thats what I am talking about! This is why players no longer need to go to a merchant tent for clothes. With the increased bazaar limit... whyshould I evenbother with a nice merchant tent? I have 2 tents actually and 9 vendors, but what's the point? I could just stockpile the clothes and sell them nightly on the bazaar. But I like my shops!
I am not angry btw... but you made my point for me. ![]()

My sales have increased, but I might be an outlier. I had managed to get my vendors registered within minutes of pub. 14 going online so my vendors are at the top of the list when you do a bazaar search even if you search the entire galaxy.
/agree
vendor search has been a blessing for me. most of my old exquisite leotards and other loot schem items that had been on my vendor for months sold within days of global search
I decided to drop smuggler slicing1 to pick up more merchant skills to place another vendor!

While I'm not really jealous, as I would have to quit my real life job, if I had thathigh sales, but I'm curious: Are you selling components as well and is the majority of this business BE Clothes?
How about the others, I'm really curious about some numbers, how much do you do by average per day? I have done 8 million in sales for the first quarter up to now, which is sure less than most others, who are longer in business and therefore have a larger customer base. So I have approx. 90k / day.

I dont quit my job (however i work nightshifts as a psychiatric nurse, on a pattern of 5 nights on, 4 days off) and can manage to keep up just fine.
Out of the money i make a day, about 30% of the money made would be starwars movie outfits (sell these at 50k each) and 40% would be BE outfits (i sell 4 socket 1 tissue items at 50k each, from factory runs, they sell well) occassional schematic item sale and many regular clothing sales.
Also i dont think there are 'that' many active tailors on farstar compared to other servers, this combined with the fact ive been tailor since release should probably account for my rate of sales.
