Actually, experimentation/assembly is spread out through the engineering and DA trees. So technically you need both.

At first I thought this was just happening to me, glad to see that it's not. I love crafting clothes, but this is kind of embarrasing. I've been so used to getting 4 sockets into everything and that was one thing that I prided myself on being a "Master Tailor" for. Now I cringe to see the low numbers, makes me think I'm a novice all over again.

I know this is alot to ask n'Jessi ...Is there anyway of knowing if this is something that is on their "Let's fix this ASAP list"?

Are you now talking about the tailoring socketing issue? Apparently it's intentional, and it's now in our top 5 to make the socketing rate more reasonable. That was submitted Friday, and it's up in the stickies.

Do you think that there is any chance that they might look at some of our issues before we have a "revamp". I know right now they are pushing out the second droid invasion, followed by the ID mini-publish (yay!). I have also seen mentions of a doctor revamp (they need a revamp? I thought doctor worked.), and a smuggler revamp coming up soon. The major talks are underway for the squad leader revamp (they really need it!) also. There is also the combat revamp and GCW revamp. So far there has been no mention at all of a tailor revamp, or any mention of anything for us at all! At this rate it feels like it will be sometime around the end of 2005 before they even *start* looking at our issues if they ever look at them at all.

On Jan 21st, Someone commented: "Clothes decay, but who cares, I can wear them forever. The entire system just seems silly." to which Thunderheart commented: "The clothing decay is a Tailor bug thats high on their list...". One week from now will be the 3 month anniversary of when that comment was made. That is the last comment that any devleoper made about the issue that I know of. My point isn't about decay, though. My point is that if we make a top 5 and they read those issues and then decide to ignore them all, what is the point? I wish we had some more information about what is going on. Did we do something wrong that makes them want to ignore us? I'm trying my best to stay positive and constuctive and to keep pushing, but I'm beginning to feel like its hopeless.

Doesn't mention of the fact that it is high on our (the tailors') list as an answer to this person's question imply that they intend to follow up on it? If they don't intend to put it very high on their own list, then our wish list is pretty much useless. I would certainly *hope* this isn't true. Just a little communication would help a lot here! I don't expect one of the devs to come here and tell us our issues will be fixed on Tuesday, June 15th. Just knowing that our issues have been heard and that they are in being looked at (ie. not in the "we may do that someday" pile) would personally make me feel a lot better. Even something from Jessi saying that it looks like progress is being made (even if we can't have any details) would help! I keep getting the feeling that she isn't much better off than the rest of us in getting answers, though.

Ok, but when the time comes that I actually do know something, you're gonna get an "I know something you don't know, which may or may not happen" and be sitting around for a couple weeks trying to play 20 questions

Isn't that supposed to be the fun part?
