I can't see them doing this unless they just want to remove tailor from the game. I think that most tailors would simply quit and go find some other game to play.

They're already starting down the road of removing tailors from the game, because a whole bunch will effectively be forced out of the market by the vendor nerf, which the devs will be completely surprised and shocked by, despite us hollering at the top of our lungs about the consequences they're ignoring. And then the combat types who *do* get listened to will start hollering about how they can't find clothes or tailors anymore, so they hastily create Clothing Customization Kits or something. I could see something along these lines happening if the devs continue to ignore our warnings on everything about our profession.

I have to agree. I'm already highly discouraged by the quest schematics scheme - I haven't had a problem getting schematics, but getting the looted components is impossible for me. Either I have to depend on my combat friends (who have other things to do) or watch as my paltry bids on my server's trade forum fall to the wayside.

This component thing is getting out of hand. I was approached by an armorsmith to make RFPs and synth cloths, wanted me to make 1000 units of each per week. Fine, but I was going to calculate in the cost of an additional factory and the maintanence on two heavy crust extractors. Needless to say, I haven't heard back. I've decided to not venture into selling components, unless chefs, armorsmiths and now doctors are willing to understand what it takes for us to produce these items.

Maybe it is just wishful thinking that they aren't trying to destroy the tailor profession. I hope that Annabelle is making it known to the right people that tailors are afraid of this, though! Anyway, if they destroy the tailoring profession, I think they are pretty much making it known that SWG is just another multiplayer fighting game. To me this wouldn't be worth playing.

I have also waited paitently for fixes to things that are missing colors, the ability to see necklaces properly, schematics that are missing, such as Robe that is very different as a drop compared to the one we make, etc. This excites me as much as the chef hat and apron. *yawn*

We were told back in December that we would be getting new things and more colors to old things "soon". Was this it? The apron, hat and now cloth for a blankie? Jeeze... thanks! *roll eyes*

Making crates of cloth for other professions is not love. This reminds me of when my mother would spank me and tell me it was because she loved me. (No wonder I'm weird!)
