You should get everyone to wear hawtpants on the sandbox server. Then when anyone questions about it, tell them it provides better armor protection than 90% comp.

I will be DEMANDING hawtpants for my testing toon (I've already got my invite for the sandbox). Jinks already proudly wears them into battle.

I'll do it, sign me up. I look at it as an opportunity to help shape the combat system and make sure they don't screw it up, lol.

I have applied properly in a pm to team hawtpants and am standing by to be carried away with the other chosen ones to the magic sandbox should the almighty hawtpant goddess smile upon me. 
I have been fighting and crafting on the same character for a long time now and I have no life and I am just a highschool substitute teacher that cancoose not togo into work whenever I feel like it. So I am good to go.
Whether I am chosen or not though I think you should all wear hawtpants while fighting since this is for the combat balance.
It will confuse your enemies and give you the advantage.
Long live team Hawtpants. Mayweat least prevail over team codpiece and the arsorted team butcher, team baker, and team candlestick makers.

Just an FYI about selection - I'm trying to coordinate with other correspondents to make sure we don't have overlap. This includes, among others, coordinating with Kwee who, as you know, has just given birth to her third baby - a boy I also have to coordinate with the Merchant and BE correspondents becuase there will be some overlap there too. So I'm going to hold off with the list until those professions have their lists, compare lists, and then submit around the same time.
