I've done that too, for a friend who wanted things in a specific shade of blue. Made it much easier in the occasional long gaps between clothes orders.

I don't think those are still in the works, because Syzygy has long since quit the game. However most clothing takes either the full palette, leather palette, or metal palette, which I think are all up there.

I have certain colors I mainly use, and they are named so that I can match them when some one comes back and says, "I need a little top in blue to match the skirt I bought a month ago". I can say, what did I name it? and they can give me whichcolor it is. Or I just eyeball things. After a year I think most tailors are pretty good at that.

To match the color, I simply take the one item, examine it ( in a REALLY big window) and hold my cursor over the colors until I get a close, if not perfect, match.

I only use the "by eye" method, using the examine window. I had put the color chart in my notepad, but I just found it to be easier to match colors using my natural sense of color. So, now I have a pretty color chart in my notepad that doesn't get used.

Yes, someone pointed out the irony of the master tailor being naked most of the time... /sigh
Oh well, my husband likes it.
BTW Jess that color chart WILL fit into the notepad, I have it there along with a TON of other stuff.
