Yeah, definitely hate it when you are working with something with multiple sub-components and trying to get it to 4 sockets. Have to put it on practice or strike the market of people who don't care how many sockets their clothing has.

You mean you don't already go through the socket ritual before each crafting session?
Dressed in flourescent pink hawpants you must sacrifice a virgin Ranger [1]and then circle your crafting station [2] at least 3 times while chanting "Socket gods, heed my plight, make my clothes with 4 tonight".
Notes:
[1] Some people believe that a virgin sacrificing aRanger in Hawtpants is equally as appeasing to the gods. But believe me, it is easier to find a virgin Ranger than a Hawtpanted Ranger.
[2] Don't try this with your little droid station, it will follow you and you'll get dizzy and fall over .... and then you have to start again with the whole Ranger/Virgin/Hawtpants thing.
