The origional post does smack of trolling doesn't it. So really Starphire I fail to see why you're upset,Sheree posted trolling for exactly the reaction she got.

Tho to be honest nobody said grinding was bad, and I don't think anyone here said they didn't grind, and I don't think anyone insulted Sheree. At most the posted replys on this thread have expressed disdain for the bragging the origional poster indulged in, and concern that after grinding everything in such a short time that they lack the experience to be good tailors. Tho a few were a little snide.

Over the next few days, we're going to be implementing a new system: forum rating balancing. We are aware that stars 1 and 5 have been overused by players, while stars 2-4 have shown little use at all. Our new plan calls for the gradual yet systematical nerfing of stars 1 and 5, resulting in an even playing field for our forum-goers. Thank you.

That's cool, I was wondering how long it would take if I did the grinding route. I plan on doing this too. I only want to become a Tailor to make a bunch of my own stuff & then I'll probably drop it for the other crafting professions too. I just wanna try everything & make all my own stuff for fun.

I think it's a pretty safe assumption that this person knows nothing about the clothes he/she can make, the colors, what sells, what doesn't sell, what BE tissues can go where, pricing, etc. That's not being mean, that's being truthful.

There is a difference between mixing grinding and selling (as I did and probably many other did as well) and grinding all the way to master in 2 days. There is NO WAY that the latter person can be as knowledgable as the people who actually sold clothes along the way. Does this mean they will never learn? No. Does this mean they are a bad person? No.

But, frankly.. the initial post smells like nothing more than trolling to me.. even if I had ground all the way to master in 2 days, I certainly wouldn't come to the tailor board to brag about it.

Starphire you haven't been coming to the tailor boards for very long - but we are a tightknit community and generally very helpful. But bear in mind that most of us also take our chosen profession seriously.. sometimes more seriously than we should considering it is, in fact, a game. We get troll posts quite often, as well as the same old "what do i need to grind to get to master" questions on a daily basis. Those are usually followed by the pricing flame wars, as the newly master tailor is amazed at how fast he/she can make money by selling master items for less than 3K on the bazaar.
