So time to break out those tailor crafting aprons and clothing experimentation tapes then? rofl, oh yea, I forgot, I have no interest in being a component broker.
Not a big deal I know, but I am hoping that this may promote wider use of tailor experimentation. I am excited about that.
I'm not…it would pretty much signal the end of my tailoring career. I spend enough time on finding resources as it is, I have no interest in spending even more time to find 'perfect' resources. Not to mention, I am not going to experiment out every item in a 40 item order…just a total pain in the…. Maybe if I could experiment out a schematic for an item, then colorize on removal from crate…but even then the resource hunting would be very off-putting.
Agood point. Well how about this then? Adopt the way the new wookie pillow thing works and let us experiment just on all the clothing components? Synth cloth, RFP, Jewelry settings etc.

To what purpose? The only two statistics clothing has are sockets and durability. Since decay is 1) nonfunctional, and 2) percentage based a 1000 durability functions exactly the same way as a 10000 durability item—100 insured deaths and it's gone…oh wait, no it isn't.

OK, so dumb question...
Which experimentation tapes are actually ours?
I have seen both Tailor Experimentation and Clothing Experimentation...any ideas/comments?

I make every single item by hand. I can see that this would be one that I experiment on and create schematics for, but for the love of tailoring, I don't want to see this in our skill tree. It's an armoursmith item, not ours. Throw in a fiber panel and let it be put into the novice armousmith skill box, or wherever the wookie armour is going to go.
