So, here's a question to ask as long as I'm thinking of it:

If I were to update this guide (probably won't happen for a while, I'll need to get to master Tailor on some char first), would it be better to post more updates in this thread or to start a whole new one, copying all of the original information and putting it all in one big post or two?

Btw, I want to update it because I never did finish information for all of the outfits, since I quit and interrupted the process. But it was lots of fun selling these outfits, so I want to do it again once I hit master.

Introduction

This guide is currently a work in progress - I have more outfits to add.

This guide is an attempt to consolidate as many outfits as possible, giving not only the specific items, but the specific colors.
I make no claim to having created these outfits myself. In fact, I have invented no more than five personally. Most are from Lightstrider Image Design, with others from Zendragon's Outfit List, Blight's Tailoring Guide, How to Look Like a Rebel, Yen Yang Imaging Solutions, and others from random posts across the forums. I apologize for not being able to credit each and every person who (indirectly) contributed to this guide.

Each item in an outfit is followed by a color code. Each number refers to a specific shade of the named color. My names tend to be rather bland and generic, so I'm sure you can come up with jazzier ones if you like. The colors are numbered in the same way that they are in this chart from the Needful Things website. One thing that differs, however, is the numbering (or lettering) of the palettes. This list shows which palettes my letters refer to:

• A = Main Palette
• B = Metal (Jewelry) Palette
• C = Leather Palette
• D = Limited Leather Palette
• E = Two-Strap Bandolier
• F = Long Uniform Jacket
• G = Dress Robe
• H = Ithorian

For each item, the palettes are listed in order from top to bottom as the appear on the crafting screen. The colors in the guide are in order of which color is the major color on the item. Some times the first color name will not match the first color code. In those cases, you should use the color code.

I have divided the outfits into "Famous" and "Not-so-Famous" sections. The "Famous" outfits are those modeled after outfits that Star Wars characters wore. The "Not-so-Famous" outfits are all of the rest. Thank you to everyone who helped make the guide.

Ok I got a semi-related question I've been wondering for the past few days. I've been trying to look like the old man(for when you become fs) for a few days now. I got the physical features right,but I can't tell which clothes he's wearing for sure. I believe he's wearing a default colored Gunman's duster, and I recognize the boots,but I'm not sure the eact type of boots they are. Ditto for the pants and shirt and such. Many thanks if you can tell me

I've only seen the old man once, a very long time ago (he came to a friend, I've nevercared to get glowy myself). So I really don't remember, sorry.
