Thread: Ithorian Clothing.. wth?

Ithorians are peaceful crafters and growers. It kinda makes sense their clothing would be highly decorative. A bit unfair maybe, but it makes them pretty cool and gives them something unique and Ub3r (pardon the leet). Do I wish we had cool color cobos and wicked flamage? Yea but I think also it helps make Ithies kinda special

i got an itho, i'm thinking about grinding to tailor (my guild had a guild only one credit everything sale, including full stacks of resources) because i always go to find tailors on the search and they never show up, so i need to craft my own clothing. also, what is the armor called and what does it look like?

i saw the armor last night, it's crazy insane. Hard to describe.

I think they just had a really good designer who did the itho clothing maps, and they put it all in cause it looked so nice

I wanna know what you guys thought of this? Some of the decoration to the clothing is beyond cool, why can't our clothing look like that??

I've always thought that ithorian clothing was a reallly graphic example of how their priorities are so wrong sometimes.

For a year and a half after the game came out we'd been begging for new clothing. And we were always told the same thing: "art resources are in critical short supply, making new clothing is HARD, etc etc". Then all of a sudden there is a new race added and POW *tons* and *tons* of new clothing. Never mind that no player already playing the game can "re-spec" into that race. And never mind that this race turns out to be very unpopular among new players. There was suddenly LOTS of art resource available for that little project, and whoever did it, obviously did a great job at it.

In the 9 months or so that I was a tailor after JTL came out, I think I was only approached once by an ithorian to make clothing, and every time I put ithorian clothing on my vendor or on the bazar it timed out (even though on the bazar there is no competing ithorian clothing at all for obvious reasons).

The whole ithorian clothing thing in hindsight was a total debacle imho.

I love to make the clothes- it's all about the colors, and the styles for the races. I hang out in Mos Eis and give newbies free clothes and ID makeovers all the time just cause i *love* dress up and noobs feel less nooby with all the customization. I hate to be a Pollyana, I know it's annoying. But I am still glad Iths and Wooks have their own stuff. It makes tailoring more dynamic. That is not to say I don't want more humanoid clothin options tho!

Wookies can't wear backpacks?

Is that a 'working as intended' thing? That's a bit of a slap in the face to anyone to plays wooks.

I play a wookiee on bria and I can wear a backpack. It's a modded backpack if that makes a difference. Mywookiee alt (yes I have 2 wookiees on bria :smileyhappy doesn't wear a pack often, but the last time I equiped one on her, I had no problems using it.

Hardly anyone plays a Ithorian I think they were a waste of coding time. I would like to see some of the same styles for the other races. As it is now pending on your templete you might not be able to wear armor so saying that humanoids have so many styles for armor is kinda irrelivent. It would be nice to see more clothes be added to the game so we dont have clones running around, it is falling into pre JTL where everyone is starting to look like a clone. Before they add new clothes into the game though I think they need to fix the profession that has been now broke for 2 months or so.

You should have seen some of the Ith clothing on testcenter before they came in....all shimmery and sparkly.
