Thread: June-August Tailors by Galaxy List Sign-up
The other problem with the list in its current form is the thing about the gold stars.
We know that the vast majority of tailors are happy to do custom orders, yet the implication of that list for someone wanting a custom order is that very few tailors do that. If anything, a star should incidate those tailors that don't do custom orders because they are much rarer. But here is the problem: for those that really don't want to do custom orders, we don't list waypoints in that list. So they are in effect saying: "don't contact me, I'd rather you shop at my shop, but I won't tell you wheremy shopis" lol.
Sorry, please don't take this as me being overly critical of one particular person, because I'm not. I'm just trying to propose that we improve the way we are doing this, both for the trailors, the customers, and the wonderful person who has to maintain this monstrosity.
- Like the BE List - One thread for each galaxy, each Tailor posts in that thread themselves. All lists are linked by one sticky. The list would be redone occasionally. (every 6 months)
- One thread that all Tailors can add posts to. The thread would be reposted (blank) every 3 months or so.
If there are any other ones, I'm open to them also. I think between these two, I like the BE model better, it's easier to find Tailors on your own galaxy.
just trying to see if we can indeed make it better.
- is sorted by galaxy
- contains shop waypoints
- is dumped and redone every 6 months or so
- has a better system (if any) for indicating the types of services the tailor provides (i.e. custom orders, consultations, weddings, fashion design, etc.)
