another quick way i've made money is to offer yourself out to AS. They need crates of components. I sell my crates cheap and usually offer a discount if they buy 10+ crates, but I have 5 AS on my server that I sell to on a regular basis..so it does add up eventually!

Thanks again, I think I may very well be doing tailor, or at least a good part of it. I had wanted to do a mix of combat/crafting with this 2nd character but with wanting to have better than the vendors from 0040 artisian I"m already going to be sacrificing at least one tree from an elite combat profession. So, anyone else DE/Tailor??? That's what I'd be lol.

i have made a lot of money from tailoring. Most of my stuff is BE clothing. Luckily I had a good amount of stock before the BE tissues were broken. I am now almost completely out of my BE clothing. My Defender line of clothing (camos, shirts, bandoliers) sold out completely. I never jacked my prices and kept them constant even after the BE clothing was broken. Hopefully those people who bought from me will remember that and come back. I sold my stuff for 1k per point of enhancement. If a double ehancement I sold for 1k per point of the highest enhancement. So a +4 melee def +13 ranged def would sell for 13k. A +13 melee/+13 ranged would sell for 13k.

All in all I made about 10-15 mil as a tailor. Sales were steady over the course of about 2 years.

Now in comparason, I made the rest of my money pre-cu as a weaponsmith. The sales come in waves depending on the current craze. Most pre-cu sales consisted of grenades . . .load after load after load of grenades . . .I made about 60 million on that alone. Now mostly it's Krayt weapons. Sales are slower but the items sell for much more than BE clothing.

Tailor won't get you millions as fast as armorsmith or weaponsmith, but it sure does hold its own. I sell at the very least 500K of clothes a week... and that's not including BE clothing. What I like most about tailor is that I don't have to worry about the quality of the resources I use.

I have a clothing vendor, and it's stocked with about 350 items of clothing. After a month, I only had about 30 items that didn't sell out of the 350. I'd say that's pretty good if you ask me. I think what's important about selling things on your vendor is... having the mostasked-for colors and having the vendor set in a high-trafficked location.

Keep in mind though, I must restock my vendor at LEAST every other day if not every day. So be prepared to spend time restocking. Clothes go fast
