Thread: WARNING: Do not try to make BE clothing or cloth at this time!

well i wanst saying anything that shouldnt have been said and i wasnt using profanity, they just dont like to know how inept they are at fixing problems, whilst still taking our money for a game that doesnt even work.
SIGH
No, it's that some of us are sick of seeing the same "fix it now" posts over and over. Posting here won't help the devs fix it faster, so why keep posting?

This is pretty sad.
I spend most my time over at the BH boards and Tanks (the corr.) posts all the time. Lets us know whats going on, give updates, etc..
Over here, there's nothing. Not even something to keep hope up..lol
And this is pretty much gamebreaking to you tailors...I can't believe that something with this dramatic of an effect seems to be going virtually ignored..sad
Sorry, but I really have no information to give you! Right now you have as much information as I have. At this point all I have is wild guesses. There is really nothing at all I can do to speed things up or even get information so we all have to wait however long it takes.
Demand an eta on when this is going to be fixed. BE clothes are a huge part of this profession. It's like having half the specials in BH or carbineer not work..If that were the case, there'd be a freaking uproar from the correspondents and players alike.
Is fixing this even on the dev's list of things to fix or no? At least tell us they're working on it...something..
They did inform us that they were working on it, and that it was a very difficult bug to fix. (Unfortunately, the thread that was posted in has since been deleted.)
As for ETAs, they don't like to give those out these days.
I don't even know what the rush is to fix it, yea BE clothes would be nice to have.. but from what I've read as of late.. most of the bonus's from BE clothing are broken, not working, or no longer exist. So unless they revamp it.. there really isn't much use for them anymore.
*shrug* my opinion of course.. heh
I know they don't mean to be a pest but it is bloody annoying to be unable to give them a good answer. I hide behind my afk message a lot more now.

if you have a problem with it, why keep reading?
the way i see it we are getting no answers, no acknowledgements, so we keep posting until we see we are being heard, simple as that

so sad to see that your profession is kinda worthless atm and they do nothing to fix it
We are NOT worthless!
We can still craft, they may have taken BE clothing away from us but they have not taken away our ability to make clothing.
ItemCreator wrote: I don't know about you but I have 21 people waiting for BE clothing orders to be filled, not to mention the others who keep coming in to check the vendors and complain when they see I haven't restocked (although I have taken the vendors down now so they are mostly demanding to know why I've stopped making BE clothing!) I know they don't mean to be a pest but it is bloody annoying to be unable to give them a good answer. I hide behind my afk message a lot more now.
Yep. Samefrustrations here. It's the customer service angle that really bugs me. I'm used to being able to turn around BE orders very quickly and I pride myself on not making customers wait. It's very unsatisfying to have to keep saying to people, "sorry but I can't make BE clothing at the moment". Especially when they're RP'ers and you have to find a way of explaining the "Galactic BE Failure" in RP terms (my favourites are "A recent experiment by the Empire's scientists aimed atweakening the rebellion has gone wrong and released a virus which stops BE enhancements sticking to cloth" or "The Rebels have taken to bio-warfare and have released a virus .... etc, etc".
On a lighter note my oddest (and most frustrating) recent exchange was actually with another tailor ... It went something like this:
Hi, you're a tailor right?
Yep
Well I want some BE clothes but I want to make my own. So I want to buy some Tensile Resist tissues, can u sell me 50?
Sorry, I'm a tailor not a BE. I don't sell BE tissues.
But you do BE clothes ... so u must have tissues ... so sell them to me
I only keep enough BE tissue to satisfy my own requirements. I don't have enough left over to sell
You're just being mean. I want to make my own outfits and I want to use BE tissues. SELL ME SOME.
Look. I'm not trying to be awkward here but I'm not a BE. I don't sell tissues. I haven't got any spare that I could let you have. You need to find a BE.
Don't want to find a BE. Finding people is boring and BEs are expensive, anyway I found u. SELL ME THE *&^% TISSUES
This is when I made my really big mistake .... I tried to be helpful .....
Look, you do know that BE is broken at the moment don't you?
No it's not.
Yes it is. You can't make BE clothing at the moment so even if you have the tissues they're no use.
Are too. Just 'cos u can't make clothes doesn't mean I can't. I'm a MASTER Tailor
It's broken for everyone. You can add the BE cloth to an item but the stats don't stick
Doesn't matter ... I KNOW that I put the cloth in so it must work
Honestly, even the Devs say it's broken
You're just being a nasty old meanie 'cos u don't want to give me BE tissues. GIVE ME SOME TISSUES
*****AFK - AUTORESPONSE I'm not at available at the moment. Please try me later

Guess I should be thankful for small things these days.
