ok here is my thought... lots of good ideas, some a little off based for this game i feel...
but now i feel some of the things mentioned would be more suitable for an image designer... beads for wookies, etc...
just my thought

I agree with alot of wot has been said here but there are a few nagging things as i enjoy starwars as a whole i feel that the dress wear should at least slightly co-inside with the genral theme of starwars stuff like cowboy hats i feel r a bit to new for starwars as well as som other suggestions i realise that these suggestions have probably been looked over already so it doesnt matter for these but in the future, i feel that the clothing should match the genre in some small fashion. as for some people who have basically said that only certain people should have some clothes, such as the chef hat for masters only, or the jedi clothes for jedi's. i personally think that it doesnt make a difference if people want to wear a chef hat even though they cant cook i say let them there only lying to themselves. Though i do think there should be a selection of variations for masters to choose from as well as the genral schmatics.
I look forward to a look at the next schematics suggestions

How about pants that don't sit right on the legs. Something a little larger around the ankles.

I was just at the Star Wars site and took a look at a new article about Loves Lost. When i went to find out what it was i found the Chars had great clothes, and are in the Star Wars universe. If you want a look just go to the Star Wars web site and check out the article .

Mannquins - I like the idea... What I currently use in my shop is the good old 'free-standing' lamp.
I position an outfit on either side, just touching the round parts of the lamp - and it looks enough like a display stand (will be a laugh if they ever light up and my displays glow) - then I group the rest around the wall, as close as I can get to the wall. I get a lot of compliments on my shop.
I agree, no real-world items in the game. A wide brimmed hat would be acceptable, as undoubtedly they would exist, but would prefer it didnt LOOK like a current day cowboy hat, OR a fedora. The post above for the rock and roll outfits... well, I am sure somewhere a tailor would make an entertainer something like that... but I wouldn't really want to see it.
Agree on the headwear - please!!! More for NON Twileks.
And at the Master level, ALL colors should be available for ALL items - or at least for all fabric parts and an expanded leather palette. It is so sad to see a disappointed customer when you say you cant make her boots to match her cute new bright blue transport suit...
Some delicate shades - a true yellow set. the current yellow turns orange very fast - or green....

I think there should be Sword sheathes also... but that would probably be inculded with the sword becuase the curved sword in a vibro blades sheath? no-no. ![]()

Is anyone still monitoring this thread? The initial post here hasn't been editied since last year!
Anyway on the hope that it is, I think we really need to be able to rename our clothes post crafting. If we decide to attach a skill tape for instance I would like to make that known in the vendor listings.

I don't think the devs care what we want. The recent additions we've gotten are so not what we're asking for that I don't think they pay any attention to this forum at all. That may be a cynical conclusion, and it's certainly a depressing one, but after eight months of next to no meaningful attention to tailor requests (we did get our master color palette fixed, but that's been it, and that was fixing a bug that was somehow introduced when the game went live), I have to conclude they just don't give a flip about us. Or dancers. Or image designers. Any of the "visual appeal" classes. They're trying hard to fix the combat side of the game (its weakest point since release, by any measurement) and virtually ignoring the crafting and entertaining side of the game (its biggest strength and most unique feature, by any measurement), except for a few of the especially broken crafter classes (chefs, and maybe someday DEs). That may be the most prudent way to prioritize work on the game, but I'm not sure it's the wisest. It's putting too much emphasis on something SWG has never been very good at to try and retain a lot of players who'll never be satisfied with what they do, while ignoring the game's strengths and what are probably its most loyal players--those who enjoy the more immersive, "whole world" aspects of the game.

the ankle length loin-cloth-like skirt found on some female NPCs.
Sorry if someone else has already mentioned it.
