I'm working on becomeing a master tailor. however the xp seems rather slow comeing, i found that the plain robe gives 50 xp and the hid boots gives 100. if anyone knows something else i can make at domstic 4 to get more xp, your help would be appreciated.

Bone armor will get you where you're going in the artisan tree faster than any of the clothing. Once they fix harvesters to give general crafting xp instead of structural xp, those will be good too.

My holocron told me to master tailor, what is the best thing to grind to get through it, its not a skill im going to keep or try to start selling clothes, i just want to get through it asap,

I have recently started doing tailor and have so far got as far as 0020 by making ribbed shirts since novice. I noticed on the FAQ it says to go up field wear first and then making cartritdge belts. I didnt read that before I started and I went up formal wear instead. I just wondered if anyone could tell me if I can get more xp by making anything other than ribbed shirts?

If you are grinding, ribbed shirts give the best xp for resource used since they only require fiberplast and polymer. There are a lot of other things that will give better xp, but they will need factory crates of subcomponents, or hide, which is not easily harvestable.

The ribbed shirts/cartridge belts grind is the fastest, most cost effective way to grind.

I find the best way to grind is to get your favourite music, whack on the CD and start grinding. By the time you get to the end of the album you should have near 60000XP. I use 6 clothing crafting tools and spend that time practicing. Eventually you go into the zone and just do it automatic, you also get RSI from all the clicking

Seriously, I agree, haven't made a single one since I got field wear 4.... actually maybe one? And only then to display it in the shop, but noone ever wants one!

i grinded most of tailor using Padded Wookiee Gloves. They gave great xp too, but i think they used Hide.

Cloaks give good xp also, they give a bit over 300 per item, but require a large amount of hide. i had a large amount of hide, so it was a viable way for me to work on stocking up on chemical resources for once hitting master.

Cloaks do give good xp. If you can find someone grinding scout for Jedi XP, you'd be set. I have people tossing me 22k of hide, i don't think i'll be running out any time soon - unless i get another swarm of people needing hooded cloaks *twitch* or winged hawtpants....

Nope its not just you. I cant even bare to look at them in the list. I dont think i have made one since i became master about 4 months ago.
