I'm a newly qualified Master Tailor and I'm in a right mess. I have got stuff everywhere. I have a store in Mos Eisley with 5 vendors in it and lots on display. I have got tailord items scatterd about the back room, backpacks with hides, metels, cargo pockets and every other thing a tailor needs. I have a factory that I use just to make the componants I need to craft clothes and that is filled with allsorts. I have 3 back packs with allsorts of stuff in, in my inventory. I also have a bunch of stuff in my bank. I need to organise my self better. I need advice on how to do this. I have got to a point nearly where I can't craft much or move things around.
Can you guys give me some advice on how you keep yourself in organised ?

When you make components, don't make too many in one go. Sure - it's nice to know that there's 1000 synth cloth just sitting there waiting for you to use whenever you like .....
I'd suggest looking at your component needs based on what you make and sell most of, and try and get a simple ratio together e.g.
5 synth cloth
2 fibre panels
1 metal fasteners
etc.
Then - make small amount of the least used item, and corresponding larger amounts of the other items. This will keep your storage usage for these components to a minimum, and after a few goes at running those batches of components, you should get into a regular pattern - try for a weekly or fortnightly pattern of factory runs for the components, and just make what you'll use in that time frame.
If you find like me that guildmembers keep clogging up your vendor with leather and crystalline clothing treatments, get ruthless and say "thanks - got enough for now. I'll let you know when I need more".
Also- go through those resources you have scattered about. Anything less than 1k, stick on the bazarre terminals for afew cpu and clear out some space.
Finally - consider a second house. Have one for display and vendors, and all the nice stuff you collect whilst playing the game. Use the second house for storage and crafting. This might sound like an expensive option, but it really will increase your flexibility.
Good Luck :-)
(says he with 2 accounts, 4 houses, 2 bank vaults, guildmembers houses, 4 factories ...... and still not enough space !!!!!!)
First and this is the most important thing in my opinion is set aside 1 workroom for yourself, inside here store 1 or 2 crates of each component (maybe more synth cloth) line them up neatly but in grabbing range of your crafting station which should be in the same room.
Have 1 backpack in your inventory with all your tailor stuff in, 1 crate of each major component, main resource types, BE additives.
This way you can craft things while out and about for people and your ready for mass crafting sessions.
IF you make a load more crated components use your bank to store these ready.
Now every week/fortnight depending on trade do 1 big crafting session, this means check your vendor for what has been selling and make at least 1 of every clothing type that has sold in a range of tasteful colours (leave the wierd and wonderful for custom jobs). Just spend an hour or so crafting all the clothes you need for your vendor to be topped up and put them on sale.
Make sure your vendor bark (if you have it) tells customers not seeing what they want to contact you by mail.
Get into this routine and life becomes simple, stock your vendors to a schedule and fit the custom jobs in between.
Each person is different but this worked for me.
My advice is not much different with the exception of selling some of your surplus on either a new or galactic vendors. I have the advantage (along with the extra $15/mo) of having an alt. She is MDOC/TKM between us we have two houses, four factories and eight vendors. When I started out I was filling my vendors but found myself spending way too much time relisting stuff. My vendors are divided by type (wookie/formal wear/ casual wear/ unmentionables/ outerware/ accessories) they carry about 50 - 75 item each, if I have to relist an item I will usually dump the items on the galactic vendor and not make it agian for a long time. I sell resources/BE and Schematic Clothing/ Loot in three additional vendors. Having a crafting character and a muscel character has really solved ther space/ resource issues for me. Also I never do a factory run of more than 20 crates of anything.
But that's just me.

4 small houses - full
4 factories - input and output - full
a. I sell lots of bundled crates so I always do full 1000 schem runs
1 guild hall (mall) - full
a. 6 vendors - 1 Crates vendor withcrates bundled in packsand individual crates for sale - avg. 200 items listed (I pull crates from there if I need some in a hurry)
4 droids w/10 item storage - full
2 backpacks - Tailor Kit with all organic/inorganic resources needed to make anything (but the quest schematics/stashed in workshop) and Tailor Crates pack with at least2 crates of every component
