Thread: +19/+19 Combat Enhancement... Truth or rumour?

I hear many different numbers regarding the new melee defense / ranged defense wear...

Traditionally its +4/+16. Some have said +4/+19... but I also heard rumours about +19/+19...


Is this true or just rumours?

Reason: The lack of multiplayer pve content and Star Wars feel.
For 3 years I have tried to find excuses to stay in game but only the expansions offered me what I subscribed for in the first place: A multiplayer Star Wars pve experience with friends around the globe. I found friends but with almost no addition of pve content they dropped out one by one. Now it's my turn.

I think the best that has been made so far is +16/+16. I am guessing this one has a weird +18/+18 cap but that would be with perfect resources.

the ones i made that were +16 was with near perfect resources ... experimented to 90+% ( either 91 or 92 i beleive ) and i still had 3 exp points left over ...



i did have some crates of pre cu ones that converted to +4 / +18 not really sure, but i guess some of the converson process could have made some go even higher then that ...

I got some Pre-CU ones that are +4/+19 But there is a hard cap of +25 so whats the difference how high you get them, people buy 2x+ anyway

Hardcap is removed as far as we can see.

yeah, I'm gonna save anything better than +13 for special occasions... I have half a mind to turn down all custom orders right now



I rarely do custom orders, mainly for the fact I was highly unorganized with my subcomponents and trying to get something done takes forever because of that fact

but I recently moved my house into healer's haven and made a pack for each type of subcomponent so I can do customs more easily if I want to do them

Everything is Black and has 4 sockets, if they don't like it good luck searching. But its funny sometimes when I do a custom they want it black or white which sucks.

The market for these is going to be real interesting. When I originally posted about the +16 being perhaps the "practical max" along with the insane stats needed to produce that I was hoping the effect was going to be to educate and help lower expectations to realistic levels (i.e. +14 on these roughly equating to +17 on other tissues in terms of quality). Instead the opposite seems to have happened. Everyone is running out buying 30k resource rewards and trying to match or top that, lol.


If you buy a resource deed for 3mil - 4mil (their going price on Bria), you'd need to charge nearly 100k/crate just to pay for the milk alone. And if you needed to use two or more resource rewards to make that batch... woa. I'm with Pappi, my +16's are going into a vault somewhere marked "for friends and blood relatives only". Realistically, those coming to me for melee/ranged clothing are going to walk out with +13 or +14 clothing.

I just mastered tailor last night, took about3 hours (woohoo double xp lol) and respec'd an alt to M Bio to make some tissues and managed to hit +16/+16 on these ones. Anyways, I can see where it might come in handy for some people (only able to wear a shirt under their armor etc) to have the highest mod possible, I know my jedi is getting a +16/+16 terrain negotiation shirt since I already have +9 total in 2 other pieces of clothing, but if I didn't I'd need 2 pieces of the BE clothing. This might be something some people are after (also since you can wear 2 aakuan rings and a +15 shirt you'd be capped on ranged def etc) so there may yet be a desire to have the highest mod possible on 1 piece of clothing.

There are +17 / +17 on Corbantis.


Not sure who made them but it is what is in my outfit. Even though they dont really work at the moment

I just had a customer give a crate of +17/+17 Melee/Ranged Defense tissues (5 tissues total) to make him some clothing for him. I asked how much he paid for them,he told me he paid 150k for the crate (that's 30k per tissue).I didn't bother to ask him where he got them from since that price is toohigh for my blood. (this is on Kettemoor btw)
