Thread: Publish 11 clothing: bug reports/ issues /wishlist

Please report all bugs with patch 11 to the Live Issues Thread. Please also post them here.

Why double post? So that we can get the devs' attention twice - the first time you post in "In Live" and then the second time when I bring the compilation to their attention.

Please list bugs/issues with the new clothing here. Please also report if anything old has been "broken" by this patch. Feel free to include wishlist items here.

As many of you know, I have been compiling bug reports in beta. A lot have been fixed so I want to gather fresh feedback on these issues.

I have added non-bugged palette issues (stuff that is more "wish list") - please let me know if any of this information is incorrect, as I'm going off an old list.

I just have seen, that there are still some clipping-issues with the very revealing slip, especially while dancing. Atleast on a human the uper legs clip through it on some moves.

Oh and while we talk about dancing in the very revealing slip: it looks kind of strange how it stretches when the legs are spread apart...

Yea, I think it looks weird too, but there probably is not much that can be done about it. It is almost certainly a complete skirt that they made parts of transparent. I need to look at one of those Bothan NPCs and see if it looks the same.

It is because they for some reason use the ankles as an attach point instead of letting it lay loose between the legs as it should. /shrug maybe it had to be coded that way? Hope they can get it fixed though but if you watch at least when you turn you dont look naked underneath, lol.

I am very concerned about the clipping, less so about the stretching. The stretching may be a limitation of the game and we just have to accept it. The clipping is a problem and should be fixed.

*nod* The clipping on that skirt is horrid. You only look good standing still. Even dead it looks bad... all stretched out like that. I'm surprised they just didn't make it a long version of a short wrap so it wasn't attached at the ankles like that to make it stretchy.

And I imagine that is why the short wrap is under pants instead of Misc aka Skirts because it's coded that way.

Ha! Revealing Skirt: I'm not bad, I'm just coded that way.

I'm compiling all the bugs above, and putting them into categories for easy dev viewing. Keep the bugs coming!

Well, since we were discussing this in another thread...move Ithorian (or however you spell it) wearables into their own categories in the crafting interface, like the Wookiees. They have too many items. Most of them start with I, which plops them right in the middle of everything. If we really want to get pushy, it might be nice to have the Twi'lek head gear seperated as well.

Ok, a few things right off the bat... The Ithorian duplicated clothing items (chef hats and necklaces I think), need to be removed and just made as "one size fits all" items. It may take some coding tricks, but I'm sure they can do it. We don't need to take up the extra space in our datapads and our vendors with these Ithorian-only duplicates. The new categories are much improved, but I agree that the Ithorian stuff could be separated if the Wookiee stuff is, and I also think these should have sub-categories, i.e. Wookiee headwear, Wookiee chestwear, Wookiee wraps, etc. (and the same for Ithorians too). While I'm glad the hooded cloaks are in, is there any chance they could just make one cloak with an option of hood up or hood down? Maybe a radial menu option on the item? It seems a little silly having two separate variations of the same item. Also if they are going to remain separate, then they need to label the two items properly in the category list (they both just said "cloak" last time I checked, and you didn't see the description of "Hood up" until you got to the ingredient screen or something). Ummm, and lastly for now... Jazzy Jackets for all species!

New bug list:

Palette Issues

blah blah

Fitting and Clipping Issues

Non-Ithorian Wearables

  • Extremely revealing skirt

    • Clips around thighs and backs of legs when running or dancing

    • Is anchored to the ankles and appears to stretch when legs are spread, instead of hanging down.

Crafting Issues

Resource requirements

  • Winged Hawtpants

    • 400 units of hide is excessive. Only master-level items take more than 300 total units of anything, and that is always a chemical such as polymer or fiberplast. No tailored item requires more than 80 units of hide. Please change the requirements to a resource more in-line with the rest of the schematics in the master box (such as polymer or fiberplast).

Crafting tool issues

  • Hooded cloak appears in the list of items in the crafting tool as "cloak" and the avatar appears with the hood down. However, when you select it and move forward to the resource-loading screen, it is labeled "cloak (hood up)" and the avatar appears with a hood. The rest of the crafting process is normal.

Equipping/Species Issues

blah blah

Vendor Issues

Blah blah

Categorization Issues

  • Wookiee smock is under "robes" and not "wookiee gear"

Ground Regressions: Old items broken by patch 11

blah blah

Wish List

Categorization

  • Ithorians

    • Give Ithorian wearables their own category like wookiee wearables AND

    • Put sub-categories within (such as pants, etc)

  • Twi'lek items: list separately

  • Wookiee items: Subcategories (i.e. shirt, skirt, etc)

Duplication: The following items are duplicated. We would like to see regular items equippable by Ithorians, as the backpacks were.

The following are duplicate items for Ithorians.

  • Chef hats

  • Necklaces

Agree on all..but also would like to see the resources on the skirt changed.. it takes as much as a bodysuit and covers so little The new ones are highly hide intensive.. the mayoral robe takes quite a bit too... the new camo pants bleh.. leather palette on those. And um.. oh yea..Swoop Helms.. WOOT.. full colors yay

The duplicate items have got to go tho.. I agree. And skirts are listed under skirts on my crafting tool.. but the ones on my vendor are still misc? Will the new ones made now be under skirts? That's gonna be messy for a while

I cannot recall the exact schematic name.......but the uniform and pants that are identical to the Imperial ones now have a black palette......only the palettes dont match.
Suggestion: Give the black palette of the pants the same as the ..Yes! dress uniform it was called...wasent it?

Mainly the Stormtrooper Officers had the black version of the Imperial Uniform

So the large number of hides for the basic camo pants, quilted pants, and winged hotpants is a bug? or as intended do you think?

Just wondering what to charge for them and wondering if I should hold off making them except for special requests.

It's not a bug, but it's definitely an issue we want changed.
